UCLA's Ike Anigbogu didn't seem super stoked on his Utah Jazz interview: noted that they made him fill out "a super long questionnaire."

In talking about Wagner from UM not Wilson who has the atheltic abilty to block shots, get boards, and run the floor. He is a late first early 2nd rounder this year who will be on a nba contract come opening night.

Bam is an energy big with limited offensive skills. Will need a lot of development.

And Derrick Favors wasn't? Let me put it this way (and I've argued this before) ---

Bam Adebayo came into UK with high expectations and didn't meet them. Jarrett Allen came to UT with lower expectations and probably exceeded them. Both players measure very similarly, though Allen has a longer wingspan and +2 inches of standing reach. Allen is also 7 months younger. Both players put up virtually identical per game stats and per 40 stats, both offensively and defensively, though Bam has slightly better offensive efficiency. Both players are considered fairly raw/upside prospects.

DX is projecting Jarrett Allen in the early teens (13) and Bam in the late 20s (29). Could someone argue that Jarrett Allen is a better prospect? I guess so. Is he really 16 spots better? I'd say no. I think because these players are being judged relative to expectations that Allen is overrated and Adebayo is underrated.

Maybe I'm missing something. Maybe Adebayo doesn't play hard or is a knucklehead in some way. I find it hard to believe that a guy with that physical profile (only 5% body fat) is undisciplined or doesn't have a work ethic. I really want to see how that guy works out for teams. I think he can do more than he showed at UK.

Like Ibhavw prwviously
Said multiple times. Utah is the least desired nba team and city in the whole nba when viewed at by nba players.no one wants to live in Salt lake city. I'm close to 40 years old and would never want to live in SLC or anytown in Utah. Colorado is much much better

I want to know why pkm doesn't like bam

He was pretty down on Skal last year to, fwiw. He's very critical of UK players. But yeah, I'd like to know what the deal is.

Here's Bam vs. UCLA. He's matched up with Anigbogu on several possessions and looks quicker and more active. Granted Ike Anigbogu is a year younger and a bit bigger, but Ike's another one who's projected a dozen spots higher.

I'm not trying to be Bam's fanboy, but I do think he's underrated right now. If this were the 90s or early 00s, people would be saying he has the ideal physical profile for a PF--e.g., Chris Webber, Shawn Kemp, etc.

Jazz meeting with Zach Collins is interesting. He is routinely mocked in the lottery.

The Jazz are going to be wheeling and dealing before the draft. They have until July 1 to use their remaining cap room and agree to a trade involving Boris Diaw's non-guaranteed contract. Then they need to sit down with Gordon Hayward and win him over.

Derrick White impressed me this past year. I thought he be a starter and a dencent player for the buffs after moving up to 1A competition but he far exceeded mine and most peoples expectations. He was a NCAA 2 all America but most don't jump up a level and continue their stellar play.. Big props to that kid and a possible early 2nd round steal. I heard the Pistons rally like him. Since he is big end physical it does matchup to what Detroit likes in its guards.

I think he just needs to focus on being a Tristan Thompson type. Hate how all these bigs try to showcase their "skill development". Just be a big man, especially if you are that physically gifted.

It's kind of like this isnt the 90's or early 00's

He has the ideal physical profile to be an energy big. He should focus on that.

Wesley Iwundu blows pretty bad. He has some skills. He certainly looks the part, but he needs a year in the D-League. I'd draft him with the Jazz's last pick and put him in w/ the Stars all year. Bad jumper and doesnt know how to use his tools to attack. Looks good in the PNR though ,very comfortable and can see over the top to make the easy passes.

A ton of improvement from him is needed

If you watched him at KSU you would know that he does know how to attack. Pickup games with teamates you never played with isn't the best way to judge a kids game.maybe try watching them in college and you would know more about the player.

No one that knows bball would ever comparebBam to CWebb. Webber had all around game and a fantastic bball iq which made him a lethal passer if the other team decided to double team him..no one is going to double down on BAM... KEMP was ONE of the top atHLETES to ever play the position .comparing Bam to those 2 is inaccurate and really is just lazy comparisons.
