Following potential 2017 draftees...

No one that knows bball would ever comparebBam to CWebb. Webber had all around game and a fantastic bball iq which made him a lethal passer if the other team decided to double team him..no one is going to double down on BAM... KEMP was ONE of the top atHLETES to ever play the position .comparing Bam to those 2 is inaccurate and really is just lazy comparisons.

I'm comparing their physical profiles. Bam actually is that caliber of athlete. Since you mentioned it, I looked up Chris Webber's freshman stats to compare to Bam's ---

Webber -- 6'9", 245 lbs
32 MPG, 15.5 PPG, .556 FG%, 10.0 RPG, 2.2 APG, 2.5 BPG

Adebayo -- 6'10", 243 lbs
30 MPG, 13.0 PPG, .601 FG%, 8.0 RPG, 0.8 APG, 1.5 BPG

So yeah, Webber is a better player and more versatile offensive player. I'm not saying Bam should be a #1 pick like Webber was. I'm saying that Bam has a lot of potential and looks underrated.

Saying he can't develop other parts of his game is like saying Ben Simmons will never develop a jump shot. Remember that Favors couldn't do much of anything offensively when he came in the league. Players develop their games. It happens. And this guy has a lot of great tools. I'm pretty sure he's going to be in the discussion at #24 if he drops that far.

Regarding Jeanne, he was in the mid 30's and jumped up to 24 after the combine. What could have happened to make his stock jump like that after a sub-par showing in the scrimmages?

Post-combine DX mock draft.

Pretty crazy stuff happened.

- They have Jeanne going 24th to Utah. After what I saw from Jeanne, I would be skeptical of that choice at 24.

- Ferguson drops to 25

- Frank Jackson at 36

- Kuzma up to 44

Oh stop it with Jeanne. We caught lightening in a bottle once already. And Ferguson is a legit 3/D wing with the potential to be more. No way he drops that far. There's obviously a range of opinions on Giles. Ford insists he's lottery. Adebayo back in the 2nd round after he tested like a beast. Your Kuzma jumped up about 10 spots. No movement on Bell.

I would jump all over Ferguson at 24. Giles being ranked so low is weird considering ESPN is saying he's a potential lottery pick. Bam in the second-round is weird too.

Jonathan Givony @DraftExpress

Strong NBA Combine showing from Jonathan Jeanne. Body still far away but tough to find his combination of length, mobility, skill and upside.

Ferguson measured out poorly. He isn't all that skilled. He projects to be like a Terrance Ross, just not someone people are super excited about. NBA is going towards more skilled players, not just raw athletes. He also hasnt developed the 3 or the D yet, so he is kind of just a raw prospect w/ less than stellar physical measurements.

I would not take Ferguson, no thanks. He has always been one of the prospects that I just never got excited about. Kind of vanilla to me.

His shooting percentages are disappointing, FT% too. He's quick and bouncy though. He seems a lot like Kerry Kittles, tbh. Depends on whether you are into that sort of thing.

Admittedly, it's one of those sample sizes where if he made 4 more it's probably in the high 30's all of the sudden. IDK, he just isnt someone I see a ton of potential with. Maybe that's unfair and I'm just drawing too much from how I view Terrance Ross. The measurements and game types seem to be nearly identical though.

Feguson got some buzz when he shot the ball well at the Nike Hoop Summit a year ago.

Highlights obviously, but Frank looks great. Shot 39% from 3-pt on 3.6 attempts/game. Good handle, nice explosiveness, can create. Big enough to guard 2s on a switch. The Jazz could use a guy like this to take over for the great Shelvin Mack.

Whoever the Jazz draft we will be excited. I hated Lyles before we drafted then I convinced myself it was great after we drafted him.

That's you, though. I never bought into Lyles, and even when he was playing well during his first season, I was cautiously optimistic at best, as his defense was always concerning. I can honestly say I was never excited about the pick, although he could still be a decent player. Having Booker off the bench on a rookie contract would be huge for this team, even if he wasn't quite as developed here as he has been with more minutes, which I think is overblown anyway.
