Following potential 2017 draftees...

The Sixers pick at 3 is very interesting. Do they take another wing like Josh Jackson or Jayson Tatum to go with their other 36 wings, do they take a team fit like Monk who can space the floor for Simmons and Embiid, or do they try to trade?

I just can't see them passing on Jackson, he is too good IMO. If they do Philly should riot and boycott going to games until Hinkie is re-hired. I get he isnt a great fit on paper with Simmons/Embiid, but you can't draft based on fit around two perpetually injured big men.

Maybe they trade the pick if their not in love with anyone.

Minnesota with Wiggins, Towns, and another potential gem.

Jazz are lucky that Wiggins has been a glorified Harrison Barnes so far.

One name I haven't really heard anyone talk about is Ivan Rabb. He's someone who has lottery pick talent and could be available at 24.

14 PPG, 10.5 RPG and 1 BPG this year.

Hit 8 out of 20 threes so there is definitely something to work with there.

I'm not very high on him. Just 220 pounds, not a great athlete, his play declined with a bigger role this year, shot under 50% from the field. With all the power forwards and centers available this year I would pass on Rabb.

Yeah, just saw that. 48.4% from the field is just horrible. I'm not sure why he didn't stay in the draft last year. He would have been a lottery pick. Still think he has a ton of talent and wouldn't be mad if we took him at 24. Just trying to talk about some guys we haven't brought up yet.

Quick mock draft w/ little thought, so dont cry to me.

One major thought: There are so many ****ing bigs in the middle to late portions of the first round and a ton of teams who dont really need a big man. Will be interesting. I think a lot of names will get picked in the first round that people dont expect over seemingly better bigs because there are too many damn bigs.

I really hope we get that Diallo kid. He is bright.
Also, i dont think Monk will be that low and Jeanne that high.

Players that I would feel okay if the Jazz drafted in the 1st rd; Jeanne, Giles, Ike, Bam, Kennard, Lydon, Diallo, Rabb, Patton, Hartenstein, Mitchell and Leaf.
