Following Potential 2018 Draftees

OK, oK, I'm kidding. I don't know. They seem similar - athletic, long with defensive potential... don't have much offensive wiggle, but can shoot the ball and attack closeouts. I don't think it's a horrible comparison.

IDK, I havent really watched enough of Knox. Georgetown was just different with how much they let their bigs create out of the high post. I just really hate watching Kentucky basketball.

I just gotta say, ESPN is perpetuating a lie, RJ Barrett is not the #1 player in this Senior HS class.. He's actually not even #2 or #3, and there's actually a chance he's not even #4 or #6 or #8 if u catch my drift..... He's riding a wave of hype from the Team Canada victory, he's very good right now but those rankings should be about upside.

It's stupid as hell Mitchell Robinson was denied entry to the G-League, that rule needs to be ammended immediately --- totally WTF is going on here type of rule... This kid should be allowed to move on...

A younger more paranoid me would be thinking of collusion...

That kid from UNC a few years back circumvented the rule because the NCAA stripped all his eligibility? so... uhh.. those punished the harshest get rewarded? is that how this works? it's insane, there's faulty logic being applied here...

They killing this teenager for, what seems like over a year now, because he signed his name on the wrong dotted line.. it's not right.. If this is the type of **** that happens, the system totally sucks.. There just has to be a better way..

Luka Samanic (not to be confused with Borisa Simanic) in the 2019 draft is gonna be major and would be a suitable starting PF to put next to Rudy for a long time.

That rebound by Mitchell over Dwight Howard was awesome, probably the best board by any guard this season.

Has the Mitchell phenomena changed anyone's draft preferences (EG "Lets grab another crazy athlete") ??

Whats the consensus here on Trevon Duval?? Who's EASILY one of the most athletic PG's i've ever seen in college..

PSA - I can tell you for damn sure UTah is really gonna be looking forward to working him out, so he's not to be written off til then...

His shot is so key, if they think they can get him to steadily improve, he'll likely be way more valuable to his team than where he was selected, like Mitchell, that's a fairly big caveat tho...

My buddy coaches one of the local AAU squads here in NY, told ya this many times... He's good friends with Duval's family and has dropped many off the record comments to me on the situation.

I find him to be extremely volatile or polarizing..

I would have to say that at the same age I think Duval is even more athletic than Mitchell....

I must've first brought Duval up on on this site about 4 years ago... I figured out pretty quickly that he was a better prospect than the top rankd guard at the time, Ray Felton's Nephew Jaylek, whos now at UNC.

this kid from Florida in next years draft pool Nassir Little, registers a super high magnitude on the Al-Farouq Aminu scale just fwiw, I'm actually bout 97% sure he's the rich mans version...

He's headed to UNC and he's their best recruit since Harrison Barnes in 2010...

He's only like or 6'8" tho..

There's a great story of Roy Williams reaction to Nas calling him up and saying he was committing.. I think Roy started screaming into the phone or something and went nuts... LOL... Or he didn't believe it at first and thought he was screwing with him.. Whatever he did Nas thinks Roy Williams is very funny.

Speaking of crazy athletes..... He's draft eligible this year too... From Angola... He's gonna be a major factor for Kansas.. an absolute freight train in transition..

@KUHoops

Silvio De Sousa has been cleared for competition by the NCAA this morning. He will be in uniform for today’s game #KUbball

I was right... Kentucky should've prioritized Doral Moore higher..

He'd be starting over Nick Richards....

He's making Wendell Carter look small right now.. Towering dunks over him... He's like a foot above him...

The French kid Sarr is a 1st rd talent ez.. he had this insane oreb today that Rudy would've been proud of... he was standing in the corner, and in like a split second was at the basket tipping the ball to himself and then drew a foul... super mobile and agile with great body control, and his wingspan gootta be 7'6 ish.. he might be a PF/C too or even a pure PF, not a C/PF..

Dean Wade at KSU played a hell of a game and he's in the 2nd rd range for sure. He's a 6'10 SF that can pass and shoot..

His issue is actually just being too passive.
