Following Potential 2018 Draftees

We should be to good (maybe OKC will stink next year :D, but Luka Doncic just had a great game as a 17 year old in Euroleague game against OLY. I think he will probably end up being top 5. 6;7" point guard. Think he will be better than Exum.

To try and quantify all that talent, and how it got that way, that fast, then to try and put it into a list at this point in time is just an absurd notion.


Some of those kids have world-beater potential... People will be very guarded about this comparison moving forward but Isaac Bonga looks like a young Magic Johnson.

Mmk, thanks, haven't got around to watching much of these guys. Have some favorites for '17 (Smith/Tatum/Giles), but nobody had jumped out to me in '18. Will have to check out the bigs some more :)

Check this out. 7-footer with the best post moves in the class and he's got GREAT touch. Would be an awesome backup for Rudy, he can probably play next to him too..

In another class he'd easily be in the top -3 or 5 but due to the depth of bigs hes in the 5-10 range. terrific hands/body control/balance

Yeah, there's flashes of Brook Lopez and he's definitely not a comparison I use often... It's rather unlikely he'll be in the Jazz range. I'm pretty sure he's a player the FO would like tho. (I don't think he'll be as good as Brook, he's definitely smaller) Best player from California in the class.


McCoy and Lyles off the bench would be very entertaining on offense. They'd get buckets all over the court!

McCoy iS a nice player but he is still a little raw. Saw him 3 times last summer. For his age when I saw him I was like D*mn this a big kid. I don't know about playing him next to Rudy. More of a back up, maybe you trade one in a few years if they both start playing good, Actualy no way you can play them together. McCoy is a center all the way.

Thats why they call him Big B. He's got an unremarkable wingspan for his height and a starting NBA C though. C is certainly his position but he's got nice agility and skill, enough where you could bring him in for a twin towers look with Rudy vs certain matchups. HE's got some experience playing next to a 2nd 7-footer.

High character player for sure.

A more appropriate player to put next to Rudy is Austin Wiley who's got a frame like Derrick Favors in his mid-20s at 17..

HE's also easily got the size to play C in spurts. with a rediculous 7'5¾" wingspan.

My friend who's a coach for one of the bigger NYC AAU programs swears Richards is a better prospect than Bamba (and Diallo).. He says some wild **** sometimes tho..

I like Richards more than most, but LOL at him being a better prospect than Bamba.
No way U.K. gets Diallo or Lonnie, imo.
