Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Lemme suggest one of the regulars here keep an eye on 7'1" PF Redshirt Freshman Jay Huff at Virginia.

His draft stock is going to explode..

Virginia's team last year desperately needed him, I've never been so infuriated with a redshirt situation, he'd have made a big difference in the matchup they were eliminated in the tourney from...

He was rated like 70th in the class but if those rankings would've been finalized a few months later they'd have surely revised him into the 30's or even 5-star.

He can dunk from the FT line. I'd speculate on his standing reach and wingspan but i'll leave that to the experts here.

Guy is a legit prospect too. 6th man type. This is my favorite UVA squad ever.

any SF/SG I should watch this year?

I know doncic and porter but who else?

That's the thing... noone really. Musa maybe is the closest to what we need. Mikal Bridges from Villanova is a 3&D type... Not a lot of great prospect past Doncic and Porter on the wing... Knox is a 3/4 combo forward who might be best of them all(the ones past Doncic and Porter) but I don't know if that's what you are looking for.

I'd say Kevin Knox is best suited matchup wise to play that sort of SF/SG type tweener position, I could see him like a Tobias Harris but a SF/SG instead of combo forward. For the Jazz he'd fill into the Joe Johnson role eventually.

Another player to keep an eye on is Kris Wilkes at UCLA, if he shoots it well from 3 he's a dynamite fit. 6'8" long athletic and ball-skills. I feel like he's gonna reach at least T.J. Warren levels of effectiveness in the league. He's got real scorers instincts.

Miles Bridges is a bigtime SF/SG to watch.

Troy Brown at Oregon is another player you should keep an eye out if you're looking for that position, he's gotta shoot it well from 3 though. He's actually got a alot of similarities with Exum so I'm not sure if it's a match.

There's some interesting swingman types, like Nickiel Alexander-Walker at Va tech who's got some Kerry Kittles to his game, also he's got combo guard skills and is the standard 6'5" 6'10" wingspan build. LaGerald Vick at Kansas. Lonnie Walker at Miami. Kevin Huerter at Maryland. Jacob Evans, Rawle Alkins, Hamidou Diallo, Elijah Stewart,Mykhailiuk in the 2nd rd.

Then u have 3 nice pure SF prospects in Justin Jackson, Mikael Bridges and Jarred Vanderbilt who's out injured and listed as a SF/PF mostly, but has fantastic guard skills. DJ Hogg, Musa, Bonga, Kulboka, ADel, Sedekerskis, Bates-Diop in the 2nd.

Then also there's the infamous Louisville prospect, the $150,000 man, Brian Bowen. He's precisely a SF/SG, 6'7" can shoot it off the dribble and catch, also a legit lead offensive option.

Missing a few but that should get u started.

Troy Brown for Oregon I would throw out there. 6'7" with a 6'11" wing span. He is not a great athlete but extremely fundamental. He is also a decent defender. A little streaky from 3 but I see he could be a very nice piece.

Gary Trent Jr is 6'6" and he is a deadly shooter from distance with an NBA pedigree.

I like Lonnie Walker too, but want to watch an actual game.

I think Bridges would be solid for us as a PF... even after the big 4-5 guys there are really solid prospects in the back half of the lottery.

thank you all. I will watch college bb this year.

Only time I watched closely was when wiggins, parker and gordon were playing.

and we ended up drafting Exum lol

The only reason I didn't include walker in my list is he said sg/sf and walker is only 6'4" so he is in the SG only range in my opinion

sorry but I cringe every time I hear Doncic's passing compared to that of Rubio, I am sure Rubio is a better passer then what he has shown so far on the Jazz but he has just been awful here.

Kokoskov should call Doncic and tell him to stage some sort of fake drugs and alcohol scandal so some stupid GMs would pass on him.

Another talented wing is Hamidou Diallo obviously. He's athletic and long for a 2-guard. Needs a consistent jumpshot.

Trent, Bruce Brown, Lonnie Walker, Mikal Bridges and Gayson Allen should all make the league.

Other guys who could make it include Troy Brown at Oregon and Alonzo Trier at Arizona.

International wings include Musa, Kuruc, Mushidi and Bonga, though I still see Bonga as a project.

The Jazz need to be prepared to replace both Favors and Joe Johnson this offseason, which is why I'm honing in more on forwards.

This... like start some medical report rumor on draft day... don't send medicals to anyone... we need something.

Maybe workout with some super athlete and just be awful (Kings passed on Curry because Evans dominated him in a 1 on 1 workout) and let word spread. We need us to tank and Doncic to tank.

Maybe he could do a fake Fultz like shoot with the other arm and change shooting motion... something weird to make guys nervous.
