Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Ok I lied. One more sleeper, it's the holidays, in the giving mood.

Nathan Knight 6'10" lefty PF/SF Sophomore at William and Mary's.

the hottest chick I ever bagged went to William and Mary's.. she was the one who got away.. Now, instead, my plan is still to find a pageant mother and adopt a 6-foot 7 year old from Cameroon or Mali, change his date of birth to december 31st and give em Lavar style training, minus the racism.

Kris Wilkes with a decent game today against UK. I'm looking for the tape. I think he's a sleeper for the Jazz in the mid-first round.

**monstrous showing... As long as he's shooting 3's like this he's a lottery pick. Like I've been saying for years about him --- TJ Warren level scorer.

Mizzou's getting drilled but aside from the Porter bros they have another NBA prospect that looks great.

6'8" Senior forward Jordan Barnett. He's crazy athletic, NBA frame easy and shoots 3's, really just needs to clean his handle up.

Born December 31st 1995 too.

He's a lot like former Jazzman and Mizzou Tiger Demarre Carroll

2nd rd sleeper.

The MP JR injury probably hurts his stock the most... He's gotta face all the teams top defenders now...

Seems like the type of kid the Heat would find and stick in the G-League for 2 years before calling up.

Reminds me of James Johnson..

Here are some highlights. It's mostly spot-up shooting. He's 6'8" with a high release and pretty good control, something to build on. He's not as physical or explosive as I'd like. He can add strength, but he doesn't look like much of a driver at this point.

Separately, if someone can ever teach Hamidou Diallo to shoot, he'll be a good player. Really a plus athlete with great length for a guard.

Never would have known he existed. looks legit, maybe a Robert Covington type. 39% 3s on 6 attempts per. has picked it up in december, shooting 51% 3s on 7 attempts.

Aaron Holiday seems like a lock for a back up PG in the league. would be a solid 2nd rounder. seems like he could step in and be a rich man's Neto.

My buddy's a JUCO player turned overseas pro from St. Louis, has worked with/ met these Mizzou kids in some capacity over the summer and swears by him...

The thing is with Wilkes, and it's the truth, (and I've been sounding the bell for years on him and been right every step of the way so far.......) is that his J's improved so he's showcasing it which has affected his 'tendencies'...

This is completely justified btw, and I'd encourage it. bottom line - this is whats gonna make him $$$...

Him showing off his driving and scoring ability isn't nearly as impressive as him raining down 3's. The shooting is ultimately what will take him from the high teens to the low teens and possibly beyond.

Wenyen Gabriel was awesome for UK yesterday in that L btw, played like a 1st rd pick. He's quickly becoming colleges forgotten man.

He'd be a good fit in Utah IMO.

Bigtime Aaron Holiday fan. A team could end up taking him 10 spots higher than expected, for sure.

Brunson a player I swore was extremely safe and had 1st rd talent last year. It'll be repeated ad naseaum if it happens but he could make the national championship every year of his college career.. I still say he's safe and can play 15-20 minutes next year in the NBA ez.

I'm almost ready to give him the poormans CP3 comp, which is not something I do..

I love this potential draft class already btw..

-Any class with so many good bigs is always gonna be entertaining, shotblockers galore..
-handful of players with #1 talent IMO.
-PG's = underrated
-SF = deep
-Wings = tough
-extreme top-heavy 3pt shooting... The trio of Doncic, MP Jr and Trae Young is extremely strong top-3..

2019 and 2020 will probably have a tough time stacking up... the 2020's however will start with a major bang for at leas the first 3-4 years.....

Aric Holman at Mississippi St continues his torrid shooting, 56% from 3 right now... He really passes the eye test quite easily IMO.. I like his chances.. Good call by NBAdarft.net

In true NBAdarft.net fashion they have a considerable blunder of a call on the same team -- Lamar Peters', who they had in the lottery, nightmare start to the season continues... And he got pulled from the starting lineup, which means Nick Weatherspoon, who's got the talent to workhimself into the discussion in this thread, and Tyson Carter who's already dropped 35 off the bench are starting.

I swear thats the best team I've seen outside of the top25.. It's really not even close the one loss is gonna allow them to fly under the radar for a few more weeks.

Ado is obviously an NBA player too, which is something I figured out at first glance years back... People enjoy those backup or 3rd string stories, Zach Collins last year.... Ado's one of em, for his AAU squad The Georgia Stars, he was the 3rd stringer behind Wendell Carter and Udoka Azubuike(who's rapidly improving and is underrated by all these sites, hes a fringe 1st rder).

seems like every year there is a guy who kinda sucks as a CBB player, but could fit in the NBA because he can hit threes and is athletic, long defender. this year that might be Gabriel. if you look at his production at UK(doesn't even start), he's not NBA material, but if he can hit the three, with his length and athleticism he could find a place.

Wenyen Gabriel would be a great fit in Houston im quite convinced, teams would rue the day they let him fall to a team like that in the 2nd rd... They can groom him behind Ariza for a while.

Wenyen has 2 other great attributes other than the ones u listed; activity and presence of mind or awareness/whateve r u wanna call it.

I like him way better than lets say a Jared Jeffries... I am kinda thinking he might be better than Kevon Looney too.. His 3pt shot is much more promising...

Gabriel seems like a potential late-riser in this draft, and it's a given he's going to CRUSH all interviews, thats part of why I brought him up. this is a warning shot, the 1st rd hype is still real.. He's a type of player I could see the Bucks targeting..

Shai Gilgeous Alexander's draft stock is way underreported/underrated too, he's got some Frank Ntilikina to his game.
