Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Trae Young plays today vs a tough TCU squad. Should be a good game. ESPN2.

The kid he's gotta go up against is Jaylen Fisher (can't miss him, he's albino) is tough as nails and one of the best on-ball defenders in the nation at PG for sure, and he's stronger than Trae. This is a primo matchup... Fisher is a lot like Ohio State's Aaron Craft, but IMO, will be better.

If you're gonna be watching this OU-TCU game (there's so many good games ontoday it's tough to choose) definitely keep an eye on 6'7" freshman Kouat Noi on TCU who's off to a very good start already. He's shooting 45% from 3... He's an Aussie, so u don't really need to look much further than that as to why he's sorta been overlooked.

What a terrible finish at that Wake forest - UNC game... Jeez I'm not even gonna address it further. Perhaps it won't be this year, but next year for sure, Oliver Sarr, and his resemblance to Rudy will become a hot topic here, that kid is extremely agile and coordinated and FAST, for someone that height/age.

I know y'all saw me post MJ Walkers name many times over, he's got a quick 10 points in the first half vs Duke... could be a bit of a coming out party if they pull this off... it's chippy in the first half too..

Trevon Duval has pretty much a dwight howard set of shoulders relative to his height, as he ages he's gonna look super top-heavy... I'd say this is Duke's most in-shape freshman class.

the HS freshman right now are INSANE..... This seems like it could be the best crop I've ever seen....

There's gonna be a noticeable step-up in talent int he 2020's mark my words... The forwards in particular flashing tons of skill very early. This kid looks like a future lottery pick ez, he looks better than Noah Vonleh at the same age easy.

I've talked some about kids from Wisconsin, the big one was Henry Ellenson and Diamond Stone in the same draft, Kevon Looney too. From a quick google search it appears that Michael Finley is the GOAT player from Wisconsin -- this kid might have a chance to take the title, thats how I feel..

Well, Noah Vonleh sucks so...

This FSU-Duke 2nd half is about to be lit.... Dude dropped 21 in the first half and banked in 2 threes, not sure If I've ever seen that before...

Duke is winning the rebounding battle- FSU had 0 blocks in the first half, Terrance Mann had 0 points and still they were up 4 at the break.

Trae Young is effing good at basketball.

He needs to be on the Jazz.

Max Strus on DePaul drops 33 on Xavier on 6/12 shooting, he's been on fire recently. DePaul is an east coast program thats due for a major upswing the next few years, major talent infusion.. Interesting to watch..

Also Matisse Thybulle is a perfect Jazz player in the 2nd rd, he'd like Raja Bell except much more likable, UW is a tournament team and had a very nice win over USC today.

well well.. who do we tank for?

If somehow Michael Porter Jr is on the board, he'll be the pick. 99.99999% sure. I said it years ago he could render Hayward to the realm of expendable..

Rudy at the 5 and Porter Jr at the 4 would be the best 4/5 combo in the history of the franchise... the rest of the team slides right in. They can keep Favors if they wanted and split Jr's minutes between the forward spots... He's the pick and he's the trade-up target if there is one.

The Jazz are smart, and thats why It's easy to make this call now. They are well aware of the ramifications of passing on him and they're just not that stupid.

He would actually steal the show from Mitchell and the whole team would fall in line behind him as the top offensive option. Could definitely be a back-to-back ROY situation..

Just curious, how many college players have put up 30/20 games? I can't think of any off the top of my head. Did Hakeem? Shaq? Bogut? Ewing? Danny Manning?

Bagley put up 32/21 today.

Edit: Apparently Brice Johnson did for UNC. Other guys like Wes Unseld, Bill Russell and Kareem probably did it. Wilt Chamberlain apparently averaged 30 and 18.

I like it. Porter JR we go. Tank away.

It's hard to argue the numbers that Trae Young is putting up. He's really pinning the needle. Perhaps the most encouraging thing is how he got to the foul line today.
