Following Potential 2018 Draftees

looks like frazier didn't play. injured?

hurt his hand right away, looked to be in lots of pain many minutes after the injury sitting on the bench too, i hope he's ok.... and i'm feeling super lucky cuz of it, I bet on Temple and if he's healthy it's a terrible bet and they get stomped....

1pt game tho stilll 3 mins to go... Temple better not choke this away.. I made a hefty wager on the 2nd half after he went down too..

So hyped for this Temple-Tulane matchup coming up soon!!!

Can't wait to see this kid Melvin Frazier, his stats are spectacularly efficient.. Quenton Rose too...
Oh, Quinton Rose. I remember him from last year. I watched a Temple game and he jumped off the screen. Long lanky wing with some skill and shooting. How is he doing this year?

This game was a below avg showing he just started off like 1-6, finally got going at the start of the 2nd and they separated..

He's been very good, or dare I even say great.... I've seen them a handful of times. He can really handle the ball, he's smooth, he's got guard skills for sure... Still skinny..

His 3pt % has had a MAJOR uptick in both accuracy and volume... from 30% on 2 attempts as a frosh to 39% on 4.2 attempts as a Sophomore. thats definitely the biggest news.

He reminds me more and more of Patrick McCaw now...

Also if u see his game-logs, whenever they play anyone good he usually drops 20, perhaps its a coincidence, there seems to be some correlation between him playing "up" to the competition, which is always a great sign, especially if you're skinny u gotta be like that...

Corey Sanders is a 3-star prospect I used to hype here a while back. He's progressing nicely and so is Rutgers (IMO). Not likely to be a factor in the 2018 thread, next season as a Jr. he should be primed to really make noise tho. Kid is a great athlete, especially for a 3-star, said years back u can throw him alley-oops like a wing and u see it here in these highlights..... He's a certified dog too.

He should have come out last year tbh. I think he has a long ways to go, but his club is certainly screwing him over.

I still think that an NBA team (like the Jazz) looking to get an edge, should partner up with a mid level Euro team and focus on attracting young players who want to develop for the NBA. Get them top notch coaching and training, while supporting them financially. Have all of your international players filter through there and be generous with buyouts. It’s an edge that hasn’t ever been looked at before, but I could see a mutually beneficial arrangement working somewhere.

I’d also have the Jazz “host” a team of all international or free agent players for the SLC summer league. Give them an extended audition for NBA execs and see if any can latch on in summer league somewhere.

Kurucs' buy-out situation sounds a bit like Korkmaz, where if he's not drafted high enough he's not getting paid enough to want to pay his part of the buy-out. Maybe it's better for him to be a 2nd-round pick from that standpoint.

the rumor is the article i posted is about him declaring in 2019

I'm still convinced the most underrated player in HSBB goes to HS in Utah, at Wasatch Academy. Bryan Penn Johnson. Who's actually a player I first mentioned here many summers ago when he was just 6'8 or 6'9...

His ranking is truly head-scratching, it's Lauri Markkanen at 70 or 80 or 90 or whever they had him pegged levels of loosely wired logic.

If this kid is the 9th or 10th best C in this class, like these services say, them 9 ahead of em better all look like lotto picks -- and they certainly dont.

O'Shae Brissett vs Ray Spaulding should be good tonight. Cuse and UL are both desperate. This would be a good night for Brissett to make 2 3's..

I swear this kid is way better than former 1st rd pick from UConn Josh Boone, actually it isn't even close...

For all the stupid **** Pitino's said, he was spot on about Ray..

I think its truly hilarious a player this good flys under the radar as he's done.. I'm so sure this kid is gonna make it and stick around.. I said years back about him as a Freshman that he looks to be near former UL Lotto pick Earl Clark levels of talent or even beyond and I stick with it.

One of my personal favorite players in college ez. U can't tell me he's not flying under the radar, we gon argue...

This is the type of player Lindsey takes in the 2nd round and he's better than most of the 1st rd picks.. If Favors walks, he'd be worth his weight in gold on that contract, locking him into a 4-year 2nd rd pick deal would be shrewd AF.

Carl Lewis in the class of 2019 is a truly awesome 6'10 bigman prospect. He's Al Jefferson levels of unstoppable in high school too, averaging 44ppg and he's a LA kid, not putting up those stats in the boondocks..

Spaulding v Brissett was better than advertised as far as I'm concerned and Brissett went 3/4 from 3 which allowed him to play Ray to a stand-still. Impressive showing from both, and Cuses 6'4" PG Frank Howard who I mentioned was gonna be in these threads as a freshman.

Trae Young is just so good on offense, it's like he's a starting pitcher that has a 105 MPH fastball with wicked late-movement in his back-pocket, ready to be deployed at his command. Thats the paramount reason he's usurped Sexton on my board and is in the top-5 or even top-3 discussion.

Kid Is a BAll Hog. Black hole on offense. Not An NBA player at all.

Potential to be a very good college player down the road. Wont sniff the nba. You always say I mentioned so and so back in day but you mention hundreds of players so are we supposed to be impressed?

He just started playing basketball a few years ago IDK how u could possibly try and say his ceiling is 'wont sniff the NBA' at this point. This is the type of kid who can do okay in college and get drafted in the late 1st, or dominate and go in the lottery, he is a premier shot-blocker and force on the oboards...

If those players I mentioned back in the day made no noise years later, then you'd certainly be unimpressed? no? I'm not here to impress u anyways. This is great year for seniors as far as I'm concerned, and it just so happens that many of them were favorites of mine before they played a game (too many to list or I would..) and I mentioned them here..

Lets also not pretend that there's 4 years of players I've been hyping on this forum in college right now.... y'all been repeating this basic complaint on different troll accounts for years to me but now i've been here long enough where there's ...

IDK if you actually look at these recruiting and mock draft lists they are pretty big (multiply that by 4-years and honestly sometimes a 5-th cuz of cases like Bagley and Anfernee Simons..) my comments believe it or not, are filed down there's been a long process of elimination that takes place before I even drop a name, it just so happens there's a lot of names because amateurs are better than ever (see Donovan Mitchell)..

Not that Tankathon.com is any measure of anything, it's funny to see Marvin Bagley 7th on their mock tho.. Their listing of the guards from the teens to the 20's is atrocious and the whole thing is to be taken with a grain of salt, just good to see the tank race.

Keep an eye on Jaylen Hands. Not sure if he'd come out this year, but he's been underrated all year with Holliday handling the ball so much for UCLA. I think he can swing between guard spots.
