Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I think positiknless basketball is possible if you have guys who can dribble their *** off and pretty much get anywhere they want on the court. Lebron, Harden, Paul, Curry, it works for them because of their handle and athleticism. It works for Mitchell too. For that reason, I guess he could be a 1 in theory goin forward and therefore we could add a killer 2 still.

Position less basketball. DiVincenzo and Mitchell in the back court where either can be the ball handler.

He is a good passer and a great shooter. He can play good enough defense. Why couldn't he be Rubio's replacement?

Right now exum can flourish coming in off the bench in a 6th man role.

God I really hope the Donte hype gets out of control and he goes before the Jazz pick because I will be ill if the Jazz take him at 21.

The biggest negative on Frazier is that he is on the older side, turning 22 in August. Other than that, he made pretty big leaps every year in college. If he plays in Mikal Bridges role (and coached by an elite coach) on a loaded Villanova team, is he potentially a guy looked at as a lottery pick? They were both born on the 30th of August and probably have near identical measurements (wouldnt be surprised if Fraizer's are better, but it's hard to know without official numbers on Mikal)

never liked trent much during the season, but i think its more because i wanted the ball to be fed to Bagley and Carter than anything wrong with his actual play. but he is a pure shooter and has good scoring instincts - also measured a bit better than expected and is a solid athlete.

Reminds me of Gary Harris.

Based on what I'm hearing from people like Tony Jones about guys the Jazz like, if there's a draft trade, I think it's more likely we'll see the Jazz move down in the draft to pick up an extra asset. Maybe they drop to the mid/late 20s for an earlier second, or a future pick, etc.

Of course, if they have one guy they love, they should just take him at 21. But assuming there is a move, my money right now is on it being down, not up.

Trent Jr. reminds me of Devin Booker.

Lonnie Walker reminds me of Gary Harris, since he's a better athlete and defender.

Trent is good at finding space and knocking down shots. He can handle a little too. He's just not a game-changing athlete.

I see Trent Jr as being on a similar tier talentwise with Troy Brown, though their games are different.

I agree with you. Frazier also looks like a better downhill scorer from what little I've seen. Bridges doesn't have a 40" vertical.

BTW, Tony Jones is pretty accurate at conveying who the Jazz like. Before last year's draft he said the Jazz really, really liked Donovan Mitchell. He used two 'reallys'. He said this on two podcasts right before the draft.
