Following Potential 2020 draftees

I think I'd prefer Tre Jones over Lewis, but Lewis is 15 months younger and more offensively talented w/ better length. Jones is a defensive stud and tough. Think he could be a PG in the mold of FVV. A bit undersized, but strong build and tough.

Would be very happy with either player and would give us a potential replacement for Conley in their 2nd year.

I like Lewis as an NBA player more than Mannion. I think Mannion is pretty much a back up.

The Jazz are just a game up in the standings over OKC, Miami and Houston. A couple more losses could get us up to #21 where there's a shot someone we really like could slip. There's no homecourt this year anyway. There probably won't even be playoffs at all.

Wild to me that a guy like Cassius Stanley is at 48. That can't be possible lmao.

Paul Reed in the early 50s would be excellent value.

I'm not high on Precious Achiuwa. I'm not sure what would make him a lottery pick, but I'll keep looking. He and Isaiah Stewart strike me as slightly undersized 5s who can dominate in college, but won't be able to carry it over to the NBA.

I think what happened is that people were scouting Wiseman and saw that Achiuwa has much better defensive instincts than Wiseman does.

That's about where Diallo was drafted a couple years ago, but yeah, it looks like a vote of no confidence. The Kenyon Martin kid is in that range too and he's way underdeveloped.
Stanley really outperformed expectations though, and he shot the ball well when open and was a much better off-ball college player who plays with more defensive intensity and intangibles, so I think his skill-set translates better.

I don't disagree. Scottie Lewis probably got similar feedback from teams before deciding to return to Florida.

He's built like DeAaron Fox, but not quite as explosive. Shoots better though.

Lewis is such an obvious pick for Utah IMO. I would actually compare him more to Dennis Schroder or Jeff Teague than Fox, but he does have that sort of build.

He doesnt disrupt the timeline of whatever their trying to do with Conley either.. So essentially he'd function as a high reward, low cost flyer -- which in this draft is probably a win, and is a good 'handcuff' on the depth chart with the massive conley deal..

Also, right, we all know Utah prides itself on player development and it's an intregal part to how they can compete yada yada, Kira Lewis is a prime candidate for all that.. He's gonna add a ton of strength in the coming years..

This kid was money as a starter at 17 years old freshman year.. His first step is in fact blazing quick, even at an NBA level.

His official height is 2.03m, which equals 6'7" (6'6.75"). Euroleague lists him at 6'8", so I'm assuming his measurement is without shoes. I think that weight of 180 lbs. is 12 - 18 months old. He needs to get to 200 lbs and he needs to add strength. His handle and body control are excellent. He's a better athlete than Greivis freaking Vasquez. Give him a year, and he'll be fine.

He reminds me of a young Joe Ingles.

He's gotta get more crafty though.

This is one of Utah's recruits. Not saying he's NBA bound at all, but he looks like a solid European pick up for their team. Perhaps the next Hanno Möttölä.

What ever happened to Jay Scrubb the top rated Juco player? I don't really see him in the first round on any mock drafts. Supposedly, he was gonna be a lottery pick. Lol

He'll likely go in the mid-2nd round. Not having a pre-draft process hurts his ability to move up draft boards.
