Following Potential 2020 draftees

rumors are flying... seems like theres gonna be lots of action in the lottery... hawks at 6 seems to be a spot drawing lots of interest

Wow, newest Ringer mock has Poku going 12. Seems like the Jazz getting him is out of the question without a trade up.

Arizona G Nico Mannion has worked out and interviewed with the Orlando Magic, Brooklyn Nets, Utah Jazz, and the Los Angeles Lakers, per sources.

I'm fine with that. I feel like guys like this come around and people start throwing out Giannis, Dirk, Zinger... and forget there is a long list of dudes who were skilled but never filled out or had the requisite strength to be effective... or just clobbered super ****** competition. There are a lot of guys in our range that will be rotation players or starter level at the wing and I'd rather grab one than take a flier on Poku. It isn't just the cost of the pick... its the years of development to see if it will work.

They have us taking Zeke Nnaji. Any opinions on him? 23 seems to be a little high for him, perhaps?
They have us drafting for current need... I don't think we take a big unless something weird happens and all of Bane, Bey, Woodard, McDaniels, Green are off the board. They might take Jalen Smith but I think there is belief he can play 4 some alongside another big. We will see.

Maybe if we trade back. I don't hate Nnaji... the shot looks smooth... I just think its not a good use for a pick. I also think the #1 thing a big needs to do is anchor the defense. Not sure he's that guy.

New Ringer mock has us taking Zeke Nnaji. Would be funny seeing Locke interviewing him pronouncing his name. Also they’re saying there’s buzz of Pritchard having a first round promise. No Woodard in the first

ESPN shows him going to Dallas at #18. He's all over the map, as wide a draft range as anyone in the mid-1st round. I feel like if he gets past Boston at #14, he could drop a bit.

He's OK. I think his shooting is legit. I dont know enough about his defense, but supposedly its not good. Kind of like a modern lower version of Ibaka I guess.

I know almost nothing about him but I will say this... after watching his highlight video he is elite, like top 1%, at pointing to the guy that passed him the ball after he scores. My guess is his manners and gratitude are top level. Everyone loves to play with that guy.

He does interview exceptionally well.

His touch looks really good in the mid-range. He didn't shoot a high volume of threes....but maybe he picks that up. He's an extremely energetic rebounder which seems to be his biggest strength. He may fit well with Rudy and if he gets a 3 point shot then watch out.

He would have been a top 8 pick 20 years ago but the needs from bigs have changed I guess.

Go check out Spencer Pearlman's twitter feed. He loves Bane and has some great breakdowns. If he's there I think I'd take him over all the other wings. Just seems like such a good fit for the system and next to DM. I get that he's old but his stuff off of picks and without the ball is great... add in the passing and smart defense and I'm willing to look past the TRex arms.

underrated "older" guys:

Paul Reed
Jordan Nwora
Daniel Oturu
Jalen Smith
Udoka Azuibuke
Markus Howard
Tyshon Alexander

A couple of those guys are going to hit big.

Also, Cy, i haven't been on the board. what's your opinion on Woodard?
