Following Potential 2025 Draftees

IMO, the upside for Tre would be something like Beal/Booker....It's not out of the picture. As a pure scorer/shotmaker he's one of the better prospects in recent memory. Still have Kas/VJ ahead as he's mostly struggled in conference play.

Unfortunately Tre's defense is about as bad as Clarkson's right now.
He seems to try at least... I have only watched him live a few times. I think he could sneak into that 3-5 group but it might require one of those guys really falling off.

Anyone want to post ESPN's mock?

He tries, that's true, but his terrible defense has really stood out to me the past few games of his that I have watched. He's a terrible screen navigator, gets beat regularly off the dribble, is slow to rotate, doesn't offer any resistance in the paint... yeah he's really bad.

Sounds like Sensabaugh lol. His defensive tape was maybe the worst I can recall.

The standard for lead guards these days is just so high. I think Fears most likely ends up as a backup in the mold of a Nick Smith or Tre Mann. He's good and does a number of things well. I'm just not sure he does these things well enough to be a high-level lead guard. He's athletic, but not that athletic. He can shoot, but he's not a high-level shooter. He can beat guys and break the paint, but he can't do it quickly or consistently.

Should be a top-7 or 8 rotational player though.
He's destined to be on the hornets. They have a special love for this type of player. Let them be.

Is there a general consensus on Bailey vs Harper?

Brice was on a different level, Tre isn't quite that bad.
Yeah, Tre's defense is bad, but it's not so bad to the point where Im that concerned, but maybe I should be.

I feel like we all that have concern because of Keyonte, but I dont want to overcorrect too much. Keyonte, as it stands now, is uniquely bad on defense. I dont even remember his defense being that much of a concern for his pre-draft scouting outside of him just being a combo guard sized player.

And I think Brice's stuff mostly revolves around him being really slow to process anything happening on the court.

1. Flagg
2. Harper
3. Bailey
4. Edgecombe
5. KJ
6. Knueppel
7. Maluach
8. Demin
9. Fears
10. Queen
11. Tre Johnson
12. Beringer
13. McNeeley
14. Traore
I don't get Maluach. I think I like McNeeley better than Kneuppel. He hates Tre I guess.

i think most probably have harper before bailey. bailey hit a hot stretch with harper out and may have passed him at one point, but since harper has been back, bailey hasn't been great (left the game sick last time out) and harper has reminded people of what he can do.

That's probably my rock solid, impenetrable top 6. I really dont see anyone falling out or anyone over taking them.

I looked at Tankathon today and they had Kon #6. He has been playing really well. I just struggle to see him overtaking anyone with his very limited physical tools.
