Following Potential 2025 Draftees

On the one hand, Ace Bailey takes a bunch of shots you don't want him taking. On the other hand, he makes a lot of them.

So, if Jazz get a 7-10 pick would there still be a very good player available

Yeah. I might look at Rocco Zikarsky. I'm curious about Egor Demin and Ben Saraf. The Jazz need a real primary initiator.

Maybe the Jazz can get lucky in the lottery. Dylan Harper would really move things in the right direction.

im sure there are good players 7-10, maybe even stars. i would still tank so hard to try and get 1-4. those players are vitually guaranteed stars and flagg maybe generational. i am firmly in the tank my *** of team.

The term generational is thrown around way to much. I like flagg a lot but seriously generational?

He might not even end up the best player in this draft class when it is all said and done.

Way too early, but right now it feels like there is a significant drop off after 5. The top 5 are all star/potential franchise changers upside whereas after 5 it feels like starter/fringe all star upside. I'm also not loving the depth and wondering if we should trade those MIN/CLE picks.

I expect things will change A LOT, but these are my pre college season thoughts at the moment.

Harper and Bailey both intrigue me, but I dont buy them having a shot at supplanting Flagg for #1 prospect.

Cooper Flagg's passing looked good in Duke's first exhibition.

Could he be Gordon Hayward offensively and AK47 defensively?

Depends on how the young guys look this year, who we view as core pieces, and who we will look to upgrade over.
Guys that I could see:
• Khaman Malauch | C | Duke - Elite physical tools with an insane upside on both ends at the 5
• Tre Johnson | Wing | Texas - Scoring wing and bucket getter
• Egor Demin | Wing | BYU - Big versatile wing that has shades of Gordon Hayward / Josh Giddey / Deni Avdija
• Kon Knueppel | Wing | Duke - 6'7 with an elite jumper, kind of reminds me of a bigger Reed Sheppard

I have been doing NBA draft stuff for almost 2 decades and this is one the the deepest drafts I have seen with potential top end talent.

Add to your list

Kasparas Jakucionis - big lead guard. Still learning his game.

Ben Saraf - another big lead guard that kinda don't all.
