Drafting and stashing Michael Ruzic for a year might not be a bad play with the 30th pick. Jazz are starting to accumulate a lot of young players at this point. Ruzic is intriguing and would preserve some trade value.
Just a prototypical 2-guard. I guess Devin Booker would be his absolute ceiling, but that's a big leap. No one even saw Booker becoming Booker.Who do you most compare him to? His ability to make contested jumpers is elite, I wish he got a little more separation or was a better ball mover.
You ****er
Did you say this about Hayward, too?
Hayward didn't have the awkward acne and duck face. Classic Utah. What did you think I was talking about?Did you say this about Hayward, too?
No one outside Jazz fans know who James is...I think James might be the reason some people hate Utah. Why would the NBA want Cooper a villain - the best white US born prospect since????
This guy is Monty's nephew and you can't tell me otherwise. Effing morons.
I was clearly kidding. No one outside Jazz fans know who James is...
It is just like Coop in Duke is a setup for a hated team. The NBA would not want that or it would be like 10th on the wish list (of the likely lotto teams) and they don't rig the lotto and certainly wouldn't risk it for this lol. We aren't the main character... we aren't even like an important supporting character when it comes to the strength of the league.I think James has a point though. The white superstar being on the Jazz is kind of a setup for a hated team.
But I dont think the league actually rigs the lottery to get players to certain teams. If that was the case, Zion would have gone to NYC.
IDK, I do think of the bottom 5 teams Utah would be their preferred spot if they had a choice. It is just like Coop in Duke is a setup for a hated team. 42 points on 14 shots. Is that good efficiency?
I'm not following this all so closely, but is Flagg likely to become the lightening rod for racial issues the same way that Caitlin Clark did the last few years?
I'm a little skeptical, not having seen the same sort of charisma or groupie formation in relation to Flagg. He's not in Jimmer's league on these things, I don't think.
#capturetheflagg
I mean, it wont be to the degree of the Clark/WNBA stuff, but it will be a thing.Highly unlikely IMO, and I'm glad. Outside talking heads from the political sphere love to insert themselves into the WNBA on the basis of it being a women's league. As unfortunate as it is, the WNBA has been made to be a culture war issue even before CC. There will be some typical "white boy" related stuff with Flagg, but the NBA is large enough and there's enough history that (non sports) news media won't be able to insert themselves and dominate the narrative.
Maybe of the bottom 5 but Brooklyn, Chicago, and a couple others at the backend of the odds would likely be quite a bit higher. It wouldn't be some boon for him to land here instead of Washington lol. Hansen is either sending out the dumbest **** as clickbait or a moron. Literally was like "maybe the most watched finals was because the most popular player of all time that literally changed the culture of basketball was playing in it... or maybe it was cuz people hated teh Jazz?"IDK, I do think of the bottom 5 teams Utah would be their preferred spot if they had a choice.
