Following Potential 2025 Draftees

My big upset pick paid off. Actually have Drake playing in the Elite 8

I had Drake winning as well, I think they were a pretty popular upset pick.

I've only missed on two games so far. Unfortunately they were both on the same bracket (BYU and Wisconsin), so now I'm down sweet 16 team.

VJ's athleticism is really jumping off the screen for me. Quiet scoring game so far, but he just has so many intangibles and he gets up so high got rebounds
He was asleep the whole first half. This is a pretty rough game for him.

VJ being PG sized and being unable to dribble the ball up the court against the press is basically all of my concerns with him put into one play.

It's hard to see stardom at all from a guy this small who can't dribble at all.

I'm excited for Duke to play an actual basketball team at some point. (They look pretty amazing)

I was worried about Colorado State for a minute, I have them going pretty far.

VJ was pretty good in the second half, but I really hate that he plays for this Baylor team.

He's a 3rd or 4th option for them. It's really hard to me imagine him as anything more than a role player based on the way he was used there.

On one hand, that team is full of shot/dribble happy guys and that's all they do. I think it is easy to imagine him doing more on a different team where he's not often the 2nd biggest guy on the court for them. He's definitely an unselfish player by nature, cannot say the same for the other guys on his team. On the other hand, if he was much better than he has shown he'd probably get more shots/possessions than he is. 9/10 times the reason a guy doesn't do a certain thing or doesn't do a lot of it is because he's not good enough.

I've been saying that VJ is most likely a Suggs type for awhile now and I still find that to be true. But I still think he has quite a bit of potential if he can improve his ball handling. If he can do that his game will improve immensely. I think he's actually quite good as a passer, though he's not as shifty as you would like around the hoop. There are many guys where "if he can shoot" they would be stars, I think VJ is that type of guy but it mostly comes down to improvement in his ball handling.

It would be interesting to see how often a non-high usage guy turns into a big time offensive player in the league. Off the top of my head I think I can name SGA, Booker, Mitchell, Haliburton, Herro, and Maxey as guys who had relatively low usage (compared to stars) and had bigger roles in the NBA.

Ok it is official...I don't want anything to do with Queen. He doesn't always give good effort. I honestly saw plays where his team avoided passing him the ball. Nope not going to do it.

This Grant-Foster for grand canyon i

s interesting. Not only does he have some seriously sick shoes on he plays with a lot od attitude. Listed at 6''7" guard.

Interestingbhe started at Kansas, went to depaul and is now at grand canyon. Awful 3 point shooter. Looks good in this game. Might have too much attitude. He is a senior.
