Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Right now, the Jazz would be guaranteed a top 5 pick. Assuming they don’t trade it, they walk away with one of Flagg, Harper, Bailey, Edgecomb or Johnson.

Also assuming the Wolves pick ends up somewhere between 17 - 21. Who is the guy you want the most that should realistically be there?
Right now I have a list of who I want this is my order

Carter Bryant
Egor Demin - If he slips
Isaiah Evans
Beringer
Essengue
De Larrea
Flemming
Wolf
Clifford
Saraf
Gonzalez

Some of It comes down to who we get first.

I'm out on Evans as a first round guy. He had a great 4-5 game stretch, but has not been good since then. I think he needs to go back to school.

Neither will be there with our Minny pick, but I really like Carter Bryant and CMB. CMB is probably my "non traditional high potential" guy this year. I think his offense is as good as Queen's and he also has the potential to be an elite defender.

I think there will be opportunity to move up in this draft. Miami/Dallas/Houston are all places I could see moving back to get some additional asset or salary relief or both.

We need to start acquiring well-rounded players at some point which I think is the best argument for CMB here.

I think CMB is going to be a career bench player. Really dont understand the hype at all. If he's there with the Minny pick Im not mad though, but it doesnt seem like he will be.

I don't know if I'd go as far as to say CMB is an elite athlete, but he has awesome functional athleticism and physical profile. He's built like a house, moves well, great defensive hands, and his arms are extremely long. He's not going to win a dunk contest, but has all the tools to be an extremely effective defender. He's also a high motor+smartplayer. Defensively, I think he can be a star.

I get the question marks about how he may transition his offense game to the NBA, but I really don't see how it's much different than the same questions that face Queen. I guess we just assume Queen can shoot it, but CMB cannot? Could be the case, but I don't have a strong reason to believe that one is so much more likely to shoot it than the other. Even if you're being generous to Queen and calling him the clearly better offensive prospect, defensively it's not close. We're talking about one of the best in class versus one of the worst.

I've had some guys in my signature for a while.
If Carter Bryant gets to the Twolves pick, I'd take him without a second thought, but I don't think he'll be there.
I think there's a slim chance that Noa Essengue could be available in that range. He's intriguing, but like Carter, I'm expecting him to rise during the pre-draft process. If I were the Jazz, I'd work him out for sure.
Rasheer Fleming is a safe pick. I think you're getting a Marcus or Markief Morris as a basic floor, and he has some upside to work with.
I would also workout or interview Sorber, Will Riley, JT Toppin, Wolf and Sergio de Larrea.

Is that dude from bama that went off tonight against BYU on anyone's radar or was that game more of a fluke?

Egor Demin on coming back to #BYU next season:

“As you know AJ is coming, and he could be one of the reason why I wanna be back next year."

Not a BYU fan but it would be really cool to see AJ and Xavion join a core of Sanders, Keita, and Demin. More of a basketball presence in Utah would only be good for the Jazz.

Feels like the kind of player a team in the late lottery of late teens really talks themselves into and lets him know not to return.

I think there is zero chance he drops below the Minesota pick the Jazz own.
