not sure you're point?

1) 3300 posts equals exactly 0 rep power
2) obviously those that came later get to higher rep a hella lot faster than those that were posting when everyone was at 0 rep.

It means he probably averages more reputation received per post than many of the others in the 100 club.

In the early days of rep I remember colton adjusting the formula every time someone hit in the high 20's or so. I think he finally stopped that but not until we had 3 or 4 adjustments lowering everyone's rep power. I left the first time a couple years ago at about 30-something rep power iirc and at that time I was in the lead but not by much, to trout at #2. Rep definitely rises faster now with people pos-repping at >100 per.
 
I think we should break out several rep factors. . . .sports rep, chess rep, political rep, and party rep, and mod rep.

well, maybe we could have weed rep, gay rep, booze rep, and some other fun stuff???

troll rep is a great idea, too.

I second that. This is a great idea. Probably not too practical, but would clear things up a lot and make the users reflect their actual reputation with a lot more depth to the meaning of reputation.
