Forearm Pains When Working Out

didn't read this thread .. but most pain is due to a lack of water.

Also, with the forearms, it seems most people over-lift and do not realize how underused the forearms arms.

I'm thinking that is what my problem is. I have increased weight in every area, but I never took time to increase my forearm strength. I guess the weight I'm doing in other areas is now taxing on my forearms because they aren't developed enough to handle the strain. I always assumed my forearms would just strengthen as a bi-product of other workouts, but I guess not.

I think I have a very similar problem to you. I'm pretty sure it's a stress fracture, but going to the doctor just hasn't made enough sense to do, all things considered ($, not serious).

I seriously miss lifting, though.

I ended giving it about 2 weeks off and have been in the gym the last couple of days. 0 pain and lifting a lot more than I have been able to the past month.

I lift regularly and never had those issues. But since going much heavier it has become an issue. Not heavy weights but heavy weights for long periods of time (4+ reps) is what I think does it.

It's just your body telling you where you are weak. It'll go away. But in the meantime I supplement and use braces or else tape. It's either that stop for awhile or else go lighter.
