I'm warming up to Elson. I definitely wouldn't mess with the second unit right now and he meshes with it very well. But over the long haul I'm a bit leery. Still, I thought he would be Collins Plus and he's far exceeded my expectations.

The two things that have been most impressive about Elson's play are his help defense (specifically pick-and-roll defense) and his hustle. He may not be much of a shot-blocker but he's a 7-footer with good mobility who can make the 17-footer so that's a huge luxury to have whether he's playing the 4 next to Fes or center next to Jefferson.
