Free Agency 2012 Thread

Kind of feel bad for CJ. Dallas was toying with him to get at Deron, but then left him hanging and signed Delonte West.
NJ has shown no interest.
And the Jazz have clearly moved on.
The only talk was Cleveland had him in for an interview last weekend or earlier this week but no contract.

I don't feel sorry for him. He shouldn't have thrown his coach under the bus at the end of the season (you know the one right before the free agency period). Why would someone want a 10-12 man on the roster who destroys team chemistry.

The Raptors have signed John Lucas III and plan to sign Alan Anderson (I don't remember ever hearing about him) and Aaron Gray.

The Warriors are nearing agreements with Brandon Rush and Carl Landry. I read that Landry would have to take less money to go to GS than some other teams. Why would he do that?

Brandon Roy has finally signed with Minnesota. Craig Smith (The Rhino) is in talks with the Pacers, and Joel Pryzbilla met with the Bucks yesterday.

So CJ Miles may well sign with the Lakers. The Cavs are interested in Miles as well as Carlos Delfino. This leads me to think that Alozno Gee should just accept his qualifying offer from the Cavs before they sign someone else and withdraw it.

Roger Mason will sign with the Hornets.

Darko isn't even considering going to Europe and will be back in the NBA. No surprise there.

Michael Redd is taking his time to sign with a team for next year.

P.J. Tucker signed with the Suns, making his return to the NBA after playing overseas for 4 or 5 years since being released by the Raptors.

JR Smith's younger brother Chris is signing with the Knicks, which is likely a nonguaranteed training camp invite.

Will Gilbert Arenas be in the NBA at some point this season? As bad as his decline has been, I'm still surprised that I haven't heard him linked to any team yet this offseason.
