That's a fair opinion. There is NOT a snowball's chance in Ut.., I mean HELL I'd ever want Lance on the Jazz. At the same time, I can see the concern over Gordon. He did pout during the season. I was against matching, but now that the deal is done, let's at least hope he becomes somewhat overpaid instead of grossly so. I think having more players involved in the offense will help. I think having PG's actually initiate the offense will do wonders. Hayward is NOT Kobe. He's not Lebron. But that's what was being asked of him last year.
I would bet he'll be pretty close to 45%/40% next season. And I think he'll be the leading scorer on the team. He'll be the #1 option without really being the #1 option if that makes sense. The ball is going to move around a lot, Hayward will get out and run with Exum on breaks and get buckets on early offense situations. It's the dawn of a new day in Utah with Corbin gone.
So we are suppose to be excited if his shooting goes up to .45 percent. Yes the NBA has certainly changed. Quin is a miracle man if he can do that. Hayward is still going to be the number one guy and he is going to have a bigger target on his back. I think he will do better if they take the ball out of his hands more and allow him to be a spot up shooter which is what he does best.
