I think he was trying to say (in a joking manner) that he doesn't know if exum being the jazz best shooter is good or bad being that exum is a career 30.6% 3 point shooter (last year was a career low at 27.8%) so if he is our best, then we are in trouble. It was only 15 shots with 3 money balls, so he scored 14 out of a max of 18.
Ya and my post was mostly about how burks lacks communication skills. Quin is HUGE about communicating with teammates on the court. I think that Burks not being very well spoken or vocal hurts his ability to get on the court. Notice that in what you wrote about what ingles said about burks that he didn't mention anything about communication. He was aloof last night but that is not how i think he normally is. And my post you quoted spoke of his personality hurting him which i shouldn't have wrote. Its his inability to communicate very well that hurts him. He just isn't very vocal. watch an interview with burks sometime.I think you are reading into it too much.
Locke is doing this really awkward podcast where he interviews players about what makes the culture of the team so great. Yesterday I listened to his interview of Ingles. Locke has this question where he talks about how one positive person can have a significant impact on a team, likewise a negative person can poison an entire group. He asks all the players to identify one positive person on the team. Ingles identified Burks and went on to talk about how everyone likes Burks, respects his work and how he's a great teammate. How he stayed ready all year long despite not getting minutes and everyone was happy to see him succeed.
I'll take Ingles' take over yours!

I honestly didn't notice the name of the store. I went in there planning to buy a new hat but it was way to busy and crowded for me so i turned right around and left after only taking a few steps inside. Jazz nation definitely is drinking the Koolaid and everyone is excited for this season. Also, was the Fanz Store inside the Arena still 'Fanz' I thought LHM retained ownership of the arena store but didn't know how they worked out the naming.

Yes, thanks fish. Seriously, X played better than expected last season returning from the injury. Perhaps he'll kind of break out this season? Well he's still a mystery after 4 years. But before improving his J I just want him to calm the f down on the court.. and avoid awkward contacts/falls, stay healthy. He has some elite attributes already, is one of the quickest players in the entire league. Sort of locked down Harden in playoffs too. He is a keeper regardless of his shooting performance.
I honestly believe Exum is the fastest player in the league. He's a freak of Bambi nature.
I agree about him possibly being the fastest player in the league. That elite speed combined with his length should make him a good player if he is just decent at shooting (35%ish from 3). So far he is not good at shooting. He is atrocious. Hopefully he has a huge improvement in that regard.I honestly believe Exum is the fastest player in the league. He's a freak of Bambi nature.
I don't know what type of a freak he is, but his acceleration is unreal. He looks so awkward, yet somehow he gets moving so fast so quickly. Do you remember the game in his rookie year where he pointlessly went running after a ball that was going to go out of bounds. I say pointlessly because there was a player from the other team who started out much closer to the ball than Exum, but only chased after it halfheartedly because he knew it was going to be an ungettable back court violation... and then Exum got it. He then stopped on a dime before carrying it out of bounds and threw it to a Jazzman for an easy layup. I would love to see a video of that play again.A freak of bambi? Lol, wtf
