Bloody ****in' hell!
No one is guarding you. You should be able to make a 15ft FREE shot. God damn, how many games are the Jazz going to lose before Quin decides to dedicate entire practices to FT shooting? Forget P3 and vertical. Forget balance tests. Can Player X make a FT? Yes? Sign him up. 13-29 (<45%) is NOT going to win games. You're basically giving the opponent a possession by only scoring 2 points in two trips. Favors, Booker, Hayward and Gobert screwed the pooch tonight. Jazz could have been up double-digits several times if not for those 4 bricklayers.

This game FTs sucked and it really hurt. Long term I think we are not that bad of a FT team. We are a young team and those percentages will climb up. GS is ranked 18th in the league and we are 19th, not the biggest problem we have.

Also, I hate playing Joe Ingles that many minutes.

31 minutes to get 3 points and 2 rebounds.

Tonight it just seemed like one guy missed a FT, then another guy missed one, then all the sudden it was just this idea in the back of everyone's minds "We are missing FTs and it's keeping us from running away with this game". Just one of those things were they let doubt creep into their thoughts.

Ingles running down court off that missed 3 by klay, hurt as he wasn't able to get back to defend...

I just don't get why Ingles is on the floor for a defensive possession. I know Chris Johnson hasnt played all game, but he would still be a better choice.

After the game, I conducted a highly scientific experiment...I went out in my driveway, set up the go pro, put on blindfolds, then shot 14 free throws. I made 4.

Conclusion: The Jazz's free throw exhibition in the 4th was equivalent to a blind person's performance.

He really messed up there but he has been really good defensively lately and was great on that play until after the miss.

Confined throws

I think it's mental thing. They need to just think of something else instead of worrying about missing the free throw. I remember one time getting fouled intentionally in a men's league game awhile back with a few seconds left and I had to make both to force overtime. I can remember someone was trashing talking so I just started talking back in between my shots and just naturally made them both. It was because my mind was not fixed on missing or making but on something else, a kind of Zen thing. I think that's what the Jazz need to practice, thinking about the last time they got laid or something like that, instead of that they might miss the shot.
