Wow... really???? You must be a closet Kanter fan.

Not at all. I see him as more versatile as he can play the 5. There's a premium for that. I think he's better than Booker. Enes is a better scorer and an elite offensive rebounder, I would rather have a rotation of Favors, Gobert and Kanter. Enes at $12M is a fair price. Enes at $16M is way overpaid.

But we're also comparing the Booker of today versus the Kanter of next year. Booker is probably going to cost $7-8M on his next contract. He took a short-term hit but is proving he's worth more than $5M. And he'll likely get it when the owners go on their orgy of spending in 2016.

I think the Jazz have an option on Booker for next year so we don't have to worry about him leaving for a next year. At least that is how I remembered it.

I would take Booker simply because of the money difference. Besides Kanter leaving opens up time for Rudy. There is no way Kanter would want to come off the bench while Booker realizes who he is and just plays hard.

I'd take Enes at $12M. The problem is he's not going to settle for that amount, He wants a max contract.

As well he should. He is after all one of the greatest players of his generation.
