What's new

Fun Christmas activities for family, friends, dates, etc

I like to roast chestnuts over an open fire, have Jack Frost nip at my nose, and listen to Yuletide songs being sung by choirs.

No, seriously though.

- Midnight mass. Haven't been to the Cathedral downtown yet, but would love to.
- I do a lot of baking. I bake cookies/cakes for the neighbors, the mailman, friends, etc.
- Exchanging pajamas. I usually buy ugly ones for family members cause I'm evil and they have to wear it. Onesies for my sister this year!

My parents never really started any Christmas traditions. So I decided to start my own.

A few years ago we found onesies that came in sizes for guys up to 6'4". I bought a set for all of my friends and my kids and wife. The funny thing is, a lot of them LOVED them and wore them all the time in the winter. My wife and daughter still do to this day because they hate the cold.

By the way, farting in a onesie is a bad idea.

On the day itself, I'll be cooking most of the day. CharityBrow may make a pie or two.

However, there'll be almost a month where I'm home every evening. Lots of time for board games with the kids and similar things.

What do I do? Drive all over God's green Earth. Three places in 24 hours and about six hours of driving. Nothing like having to pay the price for my parents who couldn't hold a marriage together. Dip****s.

Personally, I have a fetish for folks dressed up like Eskimos.

You're welcome.

Everybody knows a turkey and mistletoe help to make the season bright, and those are the fun things I enjoy.

Also I'm a Christmas classic fanatic and watch pretty much every Christmas special from my childhood:

Pee-Wee Christmas Special
Muppet Family Christmas (not to be confused with Muppet Christmas Carol)
Will Vinton's Claymation Christmas
Garfield's Christmas

Then of course all the classics with Rudolph and Frosty etc.
