Just out of curiosity. Where in the following political spectrum graph do you consider yourself to be?

Tough one.

Socially I will say center to left of center (pro pot, abortion (super tough issue), gay marriage, amnesty (few provisions)...)

Economically and foreign policy wise I will say right of center. (no tax raise, strong military, secure border...)

Edit: My answers are probably skewed by being in Utah.

Yeah, it is an oversimplified graph but I was just curious to see what Jazzfanz as a whole leans towards. Some of those policies I bet you give more importance to others, in which case you could probably fit yourself somewhere more precise in the spectrum.
 
Far left socially, except on the issue of abortion, where I'm a moderate. And moderate fiscally.

But I have my own definitions, and I don't really follow the current paradigm of "right" and "left".
 
I have chosen far left to contribute, but I don't like to place myself because my thoughts about politics and ideologies change and conflict all the time.

I don't really know since I'm not sure what characteristics qualify me for which label but if I just had to guess then I would think I'm probably liberal

I mainly think that the "left" and "right" paradigm is subjective. Some people understand it a different way than others.

Sure. And they're forever changing. Just like how Sanders is considered far left, fiscally speaking, in the US now, although historically, he's just left of center.

For me, I think people should do whatever they wish, unless it causes direct, demonstrable, and strictly defined, harm to another. Some of my opinions would be shocking to people around here, and so I tend to keep them to myself. After all, this is a forum where "swearing on TV" is seen as off-limits by most. So yeah, I'll just avoid the mass negs by keeping my opinions to myself.

I really don't give a dime to be honest. Just one more thread, better than opening one to complain about getting neg reps anyway...
