Funny story about Coach Snyder told by Cubby James

Cubby James was a bartender at Sundance about 15 years ago. Quin Snyder was there and Cubby knew who he was and struck up a conversation with him. They talked for a while and Snyder told him to leave his contact info and he'd help him make a connection with a sports agent -- something Cubby was considering at the time.

Fast forward 15 years and Cubby is in the restaurant business and is being asked to open a restaurant at Vivint. Cubby emails Snyder and says, "you may not remember me but...", wanting to ask Quin if he can create and name a sandwich after Quin. Quin emails back and says of course I remember you and in fact I drove past your restaurant the other day and thought I should stop in and say hi to you since it's been 15 years since that time we talked. Cubby happens to take his wife up to Sundance for dinner one night and ends up in this room that's empty except for Quin Snyder -- the first time Quin had been back there since the first time the two of them met.

Or something like that. I may not have remembered it quite right.

I used to frequent Chubby's in Rose Park (Mexican). Pretty much the Chef Boyardee of Mexican but some co-workers like it so I humor them. [MENTION=26]Gameface[/MENTION] probably knows the joint.
