Yeah, I know, the Jazz are overloaded in their front line, but my question is specifically focused on the Center spot. Every player we have in front could be considered a power forward, or a center. So who will come out after this season as the starting center?

Missed an option:

Someone else, through trade, draft, whatever.

Going to say Kanter just because I think Favors would be better suited to guard the athletic PF's that are in the league. Either way Favors will probably guard the best big man on the other team.

Millsap is in no way a C, and has no business playing C.

I said Kanter, if he turns out to be good we can trad Al for a good player to add to the lineup.

Yeah, good point, this is certainly possible.

Unless Golden State lands us the #7 pick, our next draftee will likely be a 3 or a 1. As for trades, sure, why not. Another honorable mention would be Ante Tomic, though I don't think we ever see him here.

If they land the 7th pick or better thru keep the pick

Since before the draft, I said Kanter was not the center the Jazz needed. The future I believe is Favors at center and Kanter at power forward. Glad to read some other post that agree with me.

No question it is BigAl. Favors is not a center in this squad for me. I don't mind what coach Corbin says about division of roles but there was/has been/will be a hierarchy between Favors-Millsap-my man Enes. Memo/BigAl/Enes all can play 4-5 based on matchups, so that should help but no way Memo or Enes starting at 5.

My opinion is; Millsap and Favors will battle for starting PF role, while Memo will be BigAl's alternative. Enes will be 3rd man for both Center and forward spots. His PT might change if Millsap can be used as small forward.

I found it interesting that Ty Said this
#UtahJazz's Tyrone Corbin said it'd be "huge" for team if Derrick Favors can play 35 minutes a game.

If Ty really is thinking that Favors could be ready to play those kind of min it makes you wonder what he has in mind when it comes to rotations and who starts. We could see Favors at Center for sure in some lineups.

I don't know if Favors should really move to the center position, I think he's best suited to be a PF as is Kanter. That leaves Big Al.

I said Favors. I see him having the most defensive potential for the center position at this point. I doubt Kanter will be ready within a year and Big Al has some good offensive moves, but I am far from impressed by his ability to consistently keep people out of the paint and block shots. Memo probably won't be on the team in a year and Millsap at center . . . . that one had to be a joke.
