Would you want us to grow into a common community of sites covering other Utah sports teams?

  • No way - I only care about the Jazz and other places can cover that stuff

  • Eh - If you do, you do but I have limited or no interest

  • Yes please - I want to talk professional hockey too

  • Yes please - I want to talk all Utah sports, professional and college, seamlessly

Doing a little poll to determine if we grow our community. The question is: Would you want us to grow into a common community of sites covering other Utah sports teams?

Essentially we would leave JazzFanz.com for Jazz stuff but provide, hopefully, a seamless way to share this community of members to "sister" sites for Utah NHL and potentially college sports for Utah. Imagine potentially linking directly from here to an NHL forum or a BYU Football forum, as examples. Your username would carry over automatically but the sites themselves would be separated such that those interested in only Utah Jazz talk could remain on here (TBD how General Discussion would work). Theoretically this could get new community members from other interests now migrating here to talk Jazz as well.

I don't know though. If there was a community of people that followed the Utes I might be interested in following.

Like I prolly won’t get into Ho key but would if I was still in state. I think there will be some that would want that though.

Odds are I'll go to a game here and there, maybe not every year but now and then. But that's about it.

Pretty sure @LogGrad98 was talking about the trail that supplied Vietnamese Communists against American forces during Vietnam War. He thinks this board is his personal history course…

Could you just have other URLs (mammothfanz.com or whatever) resolve here, and then have the forum sorted according to a user's individual preference? So if I come here, for example, the BYU forum would be at the very bottom, or even invisible. :)

I like how you created the hockey section here since it's another major sports team for Utah. Otherwise maybe a Utes and BYU section or just Utah college sports section would be cool. I don't see the benefit of linking to other sites unless you're considering a Jazzfanz-type site specifically for the hockey team, which would be a good idea.
 
Definitely should do one with subs to usu, utah, byu, yeti. Lots of people love to read forums. The add revenue would make financial sense too.
