Game #1: Jazz vs Mavericks, 10/31/12 - 7:00 PM MST - Root Sports, 1280 AM/97.5 FM

You'd die if you answered without a sarcasm or joke, wouldn't you? The most interesting man in the world, my eye!

He could do way better with the other fish-es in the ocean. Hasn't he lifted all those dancers already anyway...

We missed you Enes.

Really, we did. I don't just say that to every poster that leaves for months and then says he was happier while not posting.

Were you busy working out over the summer, and tweeting? I don't buy that 2 jobs crap.

Kaman to miss Mavs opener; Curry to start?

I imagine this is how Kanter and Favors will respond:

I like the chances we have at starting the season 2-0 with Dallas being banged up and then going to NO. After that it gets pretty tough for a while. But that 2-0 start would really help us in the long run

I'd like to say this year is different, but the Jazz struggled in NO last year.

Yes they did. What I was saying is that it should be a winnable game. The next game in SA not so much. Thats what makes these first to games important. We need to get off to a good start so we still have some come out of the first month with some confidence that we are a good team

I'd never object against whatever you say man, so yeah you got me. I was doing whatever you're saying.

But I was serious, it was peaceful with very little computers/web thing. I was reading books whenever I got a little free time and most of the time I'd end up dropped asleep on the pages, that's a pretty good feeling, way better than dropping asleep on the keyboard.

And of course I missed you all too sir, well not you all but I certainly missed you...

I think we're gonna be able to see our young bigs against some decent big men in NOH, SAS, MEM and LAL games right after the Dallas game. Those games will be a good test early season, I hope Duncan, Gasol, Davis, Dwight etc are all healty and will play against us.

I am just so freakin ready for this game! cant come sson enough. its been a long off season... 82 games of bliss.

Lol if by bliss you mean a mixture of joy, heartbreak, excitement, and extreme frustration, then I wholeheartedly agree.

We got this and I am excited. I was going to rep Nightmare for the great game thread, however, he made fun of Nowitzki... I cannot abide with that!

Man, the opening game of the season is so exciting..... I love that the sports radio stations have begun talking about the jazz (and nba in general).

I pumped up for this season, haven't been this excited for a jazz season in a long time.

I vividly remember this game. Gonna go ahead and blame that loss on the refs feeling sorry for the Hornets. They had 4 wins, and it was like, halfway into the season.

We didn't get our first free throw until the third quarter.

It seems like both Kaman and the recently returned Eric Gordon killed the Jazz.

EDIT: In the first game (during Mardi Gras) Kaman obliterated the Jazz. He did well in the second game in NO as well, but it was Eric Gordon who really burned the Jazz that time.

Double EDIT: In the February game, the Jazz didn't shoot any FTs due to fouls until the 3rd quarter. They got a FT after a defensive 3-second violation in the 1st quarter.

Incontinence issues. Unofficial reports are he's having his colostomy bag reinstalled.

I wonder if the over the hill gang has reached out to Braille. He'd fit right in with Carter, Brand, Kaman, Dirk, Marion, & Curry.

That would be a great fit. Do they have anyone on the team under 30 that they could trade back though? Maybe a Cheerleader?
