What's new

Game #12 Hou @ Utah Nov 19-7:00 PM MT

I think the point is that Jefferson got more rebounds than Kanter. Pretty obvious.

My point: Jefferson had a better rebounding night than Kanter.

So now how do we interpolate these numbers into what Kanter would have grabbed, on this night, against the Rockets .. with, say, 7 or 8 more seasons of experience with 25 minutes+ per game?

What's that thing called again, a flux capacitor or something?

Kanter got 6 rebounds in 6 less minutes than Jefferson.

Kanter actually had 8, but he still got half of what Jefferson got. Kanter had his best rebounding night in a while as well. Jefferson was at about a 20/36 clip on rebounds. Very impressive!

What if he had a knee surgery and got a 15 million dollar contract. So many factors, we will need at least 3 flux capacitors and 1 hyperbolic time chamber.

Probably not too large of a difference.

What we need to do is pull out the flux, hit the douche baggery button on the left, put on some Stockton shorts and replay the 'shot' 10 times and get our names changed to McFly. That might work!

Yeah, I have actually noticed Kanter getting lazy with his rebound lately. Kind of Al-like at times with his lack of boxing out effort.

Kanter to me hasn't gotten lazy but for some reason thinks he needs to be out on the break early. Instead of staying down low he reacts. One of the reasons for the 2nd units easy buckets tonight!

It's been pissing me off to no end! The guy has shown that he can rebound at an incredible rate and then gets like 1 rebound in 14 minutes. Per 36, he is averaging 3.5 less than last year (8 down from 11.5)! That's disgraceful. He's also shooting free throws at a Shaq-like %, 38%. If he plays smart, in control, and with energy, he'll be fine, but he has been sucking lately.

Passing was much sharper tonight, the break was working, but I'm still at a loss as to why we have no off the ball movement when the ball goes into the block. It's at the point where I'm convinced Ty has removed the cutter from our offense. I wouldn't have a guess as to why.

I've gone from a block of ice to lukewarm water on Carroll. I can't deny he's been very good. I just can't get over my fear that even when he isn't, which is likely to be very soon, Ty will have decided he brings all those intangibles we can't live without. The Roger Bell Theorem.

30 assists and Harden a shell of himself. Adds up pretty quick.

Was just going to get to the assist number. Coming into tonight I think we were 21st in the league. Amazing how passing helps. As to Harden, he was a shell of himself so we definitely dodged a bullet there.
