What's new

Game #12 Jazz@Denver, Sunday 1/15 6:00 p.m.

The team was supposed to stink this year, according to nearly everyone, but they're suddenly 8-4. It's easy to assume that you've just somehow skipped that rebuilding period and went straight to a 6-7 seed. When losses start to pile up and when tough losing streaks on the road happen, we'll see how some of the younger guy react. Remember, a few of them aren't even old enough to drink.

I was going to be ecstatic if this team could break .500 this year, but it's a very pleasant surprise to be in 4th place ahead of the lakers (same record as the Heat), especially after getting pummeled in our first two games.

It is not a secret that we have players with good attitudes. There is no problem kid like Cousins or any capricious superstar like Melo or Deron in this team, but still, there is nothing special to witness. It is too early to get carried away. We are just a good team, not a contender
I have to give the team credit, Howard and Tinsley don't fit the normal Jazz mold in the good citizenship category--so far there haven't been any hiccups besides the Jefferson incident. Let's blame our rough start on his gf.

As a general rule I do agree that it seems that the Jazz tend to have uniquely disciplined (well-behaved) players compared to a lot of the league, I would say this year is a slight deviation and so far the risk is paying dividends.

I actually think Al is a better passer than Millsap when they are both facing up or posted up. AL just spends way more time with his back to the basket, which is a much harder position to pass out of.

sorry, dude... we agree more than disagree about things (it seems), but I think you are way off on this one. You drinking Hot Rod's bathtub gin while watching?

Regardless of what your opinion on it is, it's still against the law and stupid for a high profile person to involve themselves in.
Yeah those misdemeanors are srs business. Hope he never got a speeding ticket either.

Honestly, the worst thing you can say about Howard IMO is his national anthem rant, though it depends how patriotic you are as to the offense it takes. I took a bit of offense to it, but not a ton.
