Game #13 Oklahoma City Thunder at Utah Jazz Monday 23 Nov 2015 @ 7:00pm Mtn (Early bird GT)

Ya'll gotta chill. The Thunder are a championship caliber team, featuring two top-five players in their prime and a cast of strong rotation players. The Jazz are one of the youngest teams in the league, missing two starters (and the two starters who, arguably, have the highest future ceilings.)

Doesn't mean we can't play better, but just like Golden State, this was a likely loss just based on the sheer talent and developmental level of the two teams - having both Dante and Rudy out make it all the much more unlikely to get a win here.

We're on pace to win about 41-45 games, with a solid shot at making the playoffs. That's exactly where we should be.

Cake has to bake.

The problem is not that we're losing. It's how we are playing. Yes we all knew the thunder and the warriors are better teams than us, but when we played the warriors we still came out on the floor and gave them everything we had. I don't see any of that tonight, or the last time we played the thunder for that matter.

Agreed, we better pick it up in effort.

And this is just what the players were thinking to start the game: we're going to lose anyway, so why try?

Rudy.

I don't think they were thinking that. I think Durant hit a good shot, they knocked down a three, and then they got their wires crossed on defense, forcing the 0-7 timeout. The Thunder put out a lot of initial pressure.

Why do we start Raul Neto again?
I think it's generally a bad idea to start two players that are backup quality against other teams starting quality guys.

Quin makes tweaks to rotations (withey over pliess and lyles, millsap over ingles, etc) but he seems to refuse to mess with the starting line-up and is hurting us

We need to start Burks and Burke if we dont want to get off to a **** start vs good teams. Neto isnt even being guarded and Hood is bricking open shots.
This
(Just saw this post after making my last one)

So Burks had a great first half. 12 points and 5 assists and shooting a good percentage.
Hood stunk up the court again.

Hood 17 minutes.
Burks 14 minutes.

Burks needs to start. So does trey.

On the bright side Hayward made two threes which won me some money (easiest money ever. Everyone should do that bet) and Burks only needs three points in the second half to win me money

Ha ha. LOLyles thought about his go-to cheerleading move but stopped himself.
