The Thunder are taking a page straight out of the New England Patriots' textbook:

Be as physical and grabby as possible. Let the referees define the line of what's permissible, and then adjust to the whistle if necessary. But always push the boundaries in this facet of the game.

I don't disagree with this approach, but NBA (and NFL) referees need to be better.

I agree with this. I was watching the Celtics/Warriors game during this game and Warriors were doing the same thing, especially in the 4th and the OTs. Warriors definitely were pushing the boundary of what the referees would call and it worked because they rarely blew their whistle.

One of the most annoying things about the NBA, the deference given by the refs to star teams and star players. Grrrr.

No he can't. He is about as good as Burke defensively.

Neto is a better defender. Maybe not by leaps and bounds, but still better. And he's played in ~20 NBA games. Burke has improved, but he's a known commodity in this respect. Neto can get even better, I think.
