Jazzfanz seems to always want to blame somebody. Rudy is still one of the top YOUNG defensive bigs in the game and a legitimate franchise player. Offense works just fine with healthy players and when you get ball movement and outside shots falling. Favors is still a great YOUNG two way big WHEN he’s healthy. Offense works just fine when you give him space inside and outside shots are falling. Jazz are blessed to have two really good young big men (plus Udoh) - they have two months to figure out how to effectively play them both (together and w/ staggered minutes at the 5) before a decision needs to be made. Let’s see what Quin can come up with.
Hood put up 20 points per game after he and Donovan switched roles. Donovan has taken on the leadership mantle in less than his first 20 professional games. Jingles is looking like his old self again. Thabo, Udoh and Jerebko all look like effing steals right now. Rubio and Burks are the anomalies - when they play well the Jazz usually have success and vice versa.
If the Jazz can keep their heads above water through December. . . they’re a playoff team. That’s a hell of an accomplishment considering the Hayward fiasco and the short lived non-tank.
