Game #25. Jazz returns to Te land of wretched hovels. Jazz at Pelicans 12/16/14 6pm Mtn

Question for people who are better at the Internet than me:

What percentage in threes does exum shoot on spot ups? He seems to never miss when his feet are set, but when his feet are not set he shoots horribly. Help us out, gvc, stitches?

Burks doesn't shoot the open 3 and it ****s us over.

Hayward and Burks both hate shooting 3's with their defender giving modest closeouts. They both want to pump fake and drive. It's a good move, but becoming pretty predictable for both players.

Exum seems like he just realized how massive and athletic everyone in the nba is. He didn't play like this at the first of the year. Seems like he hit a rookie wall lately. He will figure it out.

People who thought Exum was going to come into the NBA and just be able to drive all the time, are delusional. He's a 19 who needs to gain muscle and get stronger first off. He needs to gain confidence and that will come after he gets experience. Exum to me has shown pretty much what I expected for a kid so far.

34% on catch and shoot 3 pointers before the game started.

All these ppl bitching about Exum sucking. Yet he has 7 pts on 3 for 4 shooting for the first half.

35.4% on catch and shoot threes

Jimmer and Rivers got confused on a couple of off-ball switches because they are terrible terrible defenders resulting in wide open dunks off of cuts.

Something's clicking, I'm starting to feel better about the Jazz, and I think Gobert has a lot do with it

Yup he should have shot that.

Still surprised he didn't score anyway... Burks on the baseline going at the rim usually results in pts

@davidjsmith1232: Quietly, @AlecBurks10 is having a very good game: 9 pts, 3 asts, 3 rbds, 2 stls. #UTAatNOP

I expected him to drive, get banged a lot in the paint... miss a lot around the rim, get blocked some because of lack of strength... I expected him to shoot spot up 3s. But he's scared of contact. Whenever he sees a body in front of him, he either dribbles back and gets away from the paint or throws a desperate floater trying everything in his power to avoid any contact inside the paint.

I agree.
Gobert simply effects the game just by being out on the court.

His mere presence is a factor

I'd rather have him do that then recklessly drive and have a higher chance of getting injured when he knows he isn't strong enough.

It's crazy how davis and Asik are one of the worst at guarding inside. Lol at Harpring saying they are probably one of the best.
