Game #27 Jazz at Bucks 6:30 Mtn

Jazz 13-13, 2-8 on the road.
Bucks 14-10, 8-4 at home.

Jazz are 53-43 against the Bucks all time.

Both teams average 103 ppg, but the Jazz only give up 99 ppg while the Bucks are giving up 104 ppg, but that is for the season, they are giving up about 9ppg less since Bledsoe came over.

Head Coach Quin Snyder is in his 4th season with the Jazz and is 142 and 130 overall.
Jason Kidd is in his 4th season with the Bucks and is 130 and 140 with the Bucks and 174 and 178 overall. There have been grumblings in Milwaukee about firing him, criticisms seem to center on how long he plays his starters like Giannis (league leading 37.4 mpg) and how he doesn't use or defend the 3pt shot well (the Bucks rank 27th in 3pt attempts and give up the 4th most 3pt attempts and the allow the highest 3pt %).

The Bucks are without Jabari Parker, Jason Terry, Mizra Teletovic, Matt Deledova, and Tony Snell.
Jazz are without Dante Exum, Joe Johnson, and Rodney Hood.
Bucks say that Jabari is targeting February for his return.

Today is Eric Bledsoe's 28th birthday. Bucks are 10-4 since Bledsoe started playing for them. He is averaging 17 ppg, but shooting less than 30% from 3pt. Gianiss shoots less than 26% from 3pt.

Rubio warming up...does that mean he's only missing 60% of his pre-game shots?
I'm driving the trade-Rubio bus. Anyone want a seat?

Hey, BRIGHT NEW IDEA from NAOS:

let's collectively hate on the player who was our best for the first 10 games and, while he has struggled offensively for most the past 15 games, has been richly credited for helping our new blue chipper develop his PG skills.

And let's make sure we let all this hate out in a year when we know we're neither tanking nor winning the chip. Cuz, you know, there's tons on the line.

What do you think? Have you considered hating Rubio??

I agree with you on all counts except for the winning the chip part. We're definitely winning it all this year! Mitchell is Finals MVP.

Do you think he should remain as our starter? Or what do you think the team should do with him? Who do you want to see as our starting lineup? Do you think Rubio is a good fit with Donovan on the court?

Q should definitely experiment with bringing him off the bench. If Burks continues to play this way for another 5 games or so (and his combo with DM continues to prove its worth), then Q's hand will get forced.

Rubio will have a few ups and downs this year. If we can trade him at the deadline or in the offseason for assets that don't have longer contracts, then fine. I want maximum salary-flexibility in 2019, though, so his expiring contract (next year) + his defensive presence + his past-first mentality are valuable to the organization. The team is built on the latter two assets.
