Should be pretty soon. We are clearly a way way better team with Booker on both sides of the court.
 
At least Snyder is sticking to his word with if our guys don't play defense. Kanter only got 15 minutes tonight. Our bench did really well in this game too.

Kanter will probably regret not accepting whatever the Jazz offered during the extension talks. Gobert and Booker - and his own poor play- will cost Kanter a lot of money in RFA

We probably didn't offer him anything, just acted like we talked so Kanter's camp could save face.

I think it might have had something to do with the hit to the face he took, it was pretty brutal. He was touching his face even in the second half and it was clear that it was bothering him.

Strange since he did the things tonight that he normally is criticized for. (Defense, passing)
And the team played it's best with him on the court
 
Just finished watching this game. Very pleased with the result and loved the play of favors and Hayward. Played alright defensively, but I'm not impressed with most of our guards defense. Granted, we were playing an athletic trio of guards, but felt very nonplussed--result aside.

Perhaps they started discussions around 7-8 million a year and Kanter's camp felt they could get more in FA. Of course, this is pure speculation (no figures were leaked). As Cy said, perhaps we didn't offer anything and management wants to see how the season plays out
 
One of my criticisms of Burks was putting down his head when going to the basket ,I saw others had the same concerns ...but he made some nice penetration and bounce pass or pass to favors for easy baskets.This will make him so much better if the defense starts seeing him do those kind of passes.

I feel like Kanter needs to start, because he probably screws up the second unit and the Jazz would fall down big

Also it should be mentioned that Burks played within himself, played in control and I actually saw him drive and kick.

I want Kanter to be a good player, but my God. It almost seems like a no brainer at this point to give the bulk of his minutes to Booker.
 
Snyder seems like he will start him and give him a few minutes to see if he produces.
If not he seems limited to 20 minutes or less.
 
Great game tonight.

Feel like favors has turned a corner. So much more polish and confidence.

Gordon was a beast. Booker is an *** kicker. We are a different team when he's out there.

The bad... Trey is in a funk. Steve brown is awful... So awkward... How the hell is this the only guy we can find to replace boler. I'd rather have static silence... Wished I had recorded the suns broadcast.
 
Steve Brown has a good heart, he means well and is genuine. He makes some pretty cringe worthy comments from time to time, but at least he's honest and not afraid to voice his opinion. I think he adds a lot of human quality to the broadcast.


It's the "Hot-Shot-I'm-Too-Good-for-This-Town" Alema Harrington that I can't stand.

I think the guards played very well on D ... look who they were guarding Dragic, Bledsoe, and Thomas, three really tough, penetrating guards, and did you see their numbers, only 30 pts for all 3, on 11-35 shooting. That's some pretty good D.
