We got Alec the God locked up for the next 4 years. He's going to start making his claim as an all-time Jazz great this season.



After a difficult first two games, tonight is the night for the Jazz to prove the preseason was no fluke or flash in the pan. Phoenix is really solid and led by Goran Dragic (killer), Eric Bledsoe (dangerous) and Isaiah Thomas (pesky). The Morris twins, Gerald Green and Miles Plumlee are all tough in their own right. We'll have our hands full, and stopping the Suns transition offense should be a great early test for our guys.

Tonight, at home, is a great time for Hayward and Burke to break out of the relative 2-game shooting slumps and help torch the Suns.

Let's go Jazz!!!!!

Dragic with 3 assists total in 2 games. Safe to assume they are taking the ball out of his hands way more this year with Thomas there? I can't see how that's going to work. He seems like a guy that needs the ball.

I dunno. Dragic is pretty effective in a variety of roles offensively. I am still hesitant to buy-in to the Suns trying to play Dragic, Bledsoe and Thomas in a mix-and-match, or at the same time... Definitely closer to agreeing with you on it not working, but we'll see.

Tonight also going to be a huge challenge for Dante with those three. Obviously every game will be a challenge for him, but tonight as big as any considering all three players' prowess on the defensive end as well.
 
I was playing 2K15 my career and Exum came into the room as another client of my agent. We fought. The agent said that he will rock the league by storm. It was a weird clip. Exum actually looks like a nice kid.
 
I'm expecting a tough game still, Phoenix played us really well in the pre season. Lets hope we can get our defensive rotations figured out
 
I want to see Hayward step it up.

This is not boys/girls club, sharing minutes, sharing shots.

If we get in a tough spot, need a score I want to see him demand the ball, take it to the hole while everyone knows he is gonna do it.

That is what stars(Max Players do).

Same boat for Favors.

Right or wrong , our #1 options have to be Hayward/Favors with Burks now 2nd. That's it. We get in a pinch, rookies do not shoot, they facilitate...Max players do not facilitate....

From what I've seen and understand of Quin, this is the exact opposite of how he is going to run the team. It's all about playing with a pass and finding the open looks, no matter who it is.

We have been getting pretty good looks via ball movement, everybody just needs to start hitting them.

The biggest improvement I hope to see is our perimeter defenders not getting blown by every time.
 
We win tonight. Booker it.

Should be a good, fun, hard fought win too.

So excited for this game.


Will bledsoe guard trey or alec?

Probably the stupidest thing I've ever read on here.
 
Hopefully Exum can use his size advantage over Thomas to prevent him from totally torching us.
