What's new

Game 3: 11/1/14 Suns at Jazz 7 p.m. ROOT (TV)

Wow, hayward dominated there

Sorry if you Burke Lovers are butthurt but it's your guy Burke that can't make a shot ,I'm just getting tired of seeing all the clanks

Burke has been looking good to me. Doing some Steve Nash type stuff probing the paint with a live dribble.

* i'm excited to see favors getting a little pissed and taken it to someone. He is on the Pmilsap trajectory of getting better every year with increases in variety of skills and improving skills. Also, this offense is definitely for him.
.
* with a team we are more on par with we see our team look a bit like themselves. That is, the offense is working to get some decent baskets, d rotations are happening. I'm quite pleased in spite of the 17-2 run the Jazz gave up. This means they are capable, just not mature yet. Dallas has and old team and their maturity showed. We'll get there.
.
* Dante making me happy. Hood too. Both are players.
.
* Burks is worth his pay. I think he'll settle down and focus on hoop now. Glad that contract stuff is over.
.
* I did try to count the times the offense worked to get a good shot for each team (had to stop mid second qtr) and the score was exactly proportional to the "good shots" metric. I counted regardless of the make/miss and I counted fast breaks. I didn't count a make or miss if when a single player just made a play. Not surprising outcome, but this shows the Jazz are in same league as Suns and if they execute they'll win. (As compared to just have good players who shake and bake to score.)
.
* Booker will be a good thing for favors. His attitude will help bring favors to a new level.
.
* New Aussie does look good. But there's no way he's as good at anything Hayward is. I'd say he's a poor man's Hayward... :-) By the way, Cy claims are accurate on that topic...

Hayward playing great on both ends

Burks defense on dragic had been very very good

Hayward plays so smart
