Game 3 Thread: 6:30 PM MT Time

Cool. I never argued with you about that at all. I dont care if you like it/dont like it, but it's set up to have a very exciting end. Someone calling it anti-climatic sounds silly and bitter just because their favorite team isnt going to do well. The reality is 90% of casual NBA fans dont care and just want to see the heavyweight fight at the end.
Tbh honest he said "can anybody ever remember a less anti-climatic playoffs"
Which, when you break it down means that he thinks it's very climactic due to his use of a double negative lol.

I think he meant more anti climactic lol
Can anybody else remember a less anti-climatic playoffs? I mean I think the Spurs will take a game or two from the Warriors, but obviously we're going to have a 3rd finals rematch, which I will watch none of.

And even though I want the Jazz to win it all and kick Cleveland's ***, I would be lying if I said I wasn't very excited to see GSW vs Cavs in the finals.

Always, that whole discussion was me taking what someone said and analyzing it and making a point. You didnt read anything I said and interjected yourself into it and just made it about your opinion on the playoffs as a whole rather than what we were discussing (what anti-climatic means in the context of the playoffs).
I read between the lines of what he was saying which is that the playoffs suck. There is no mystery of what will happen. No anticipation of who we might see in the finals. Etc.

I feel the same way.

This team is just not good enough to be anything close to a contender. Two consistently productive players won't get you to the finals.

If this team were healthy, I think we could easily push this to a 6 game series. George Hill was ****ing incredible this season pre-toe injury. It's just sad how it ended up. It's cool to see Hayward going up and putting up great games vs an all-time great team and Gobert playing great also. There is something to be said about finding out Hayward/Gobert are more than just "consistently productive players". I think they are legitimate stars.

I think we catch them sleeping the next two games.

Yes, and I never argued about that. For some reason you feel the need to interject an opinion that has no relevancy to the two initial post and then continue to say it when I'm not even talking about it.

Let's see if the Cavs will join the finals. Both the Celtics and the Wizards have legitimate chance to reach the finals.

only got to see the second half, i think it's a fantastic effort against an all time great team who are healthy while wére still banged up. George plays and we likely win this, or just a few guys hit some open shots, we just needed one more guy to step up.

To those snivelling cowering idiots worried that this will make Gordon leave ... really ffs no. Boston ain't nothing.

I think we need to chose between Rodney and Jingles. Please for the love of humanity let Mack go, i can't watch him anymore. Trade Alec. Pick up 1-2 shooters.

I think the only way to get to the next level is somehow get one more top 20-25 player or if one of the young guys takes an almighty jump. Gonna have to suck it up and play some of the young guys

KD is weak going to that team

I love this team. I love Hayward for the player he's become and I love Rudy for the relentlessness and fight. I love Joe for being sloppy and a general nuisance for opponents. I love Favors for even trying to play through all his injuries throughout the year...

We are just outmatched in this one. We might have a chance on a perfect day with everybody healthy, but you cannot expect a team without two of its starters to be a match for quite possibly the best team ever assembled firing on all cylinders.

I love this team. I just hope those are not the last games we see of this team in its current form.

this ....

i think finding out that Gordon was able to elevate his level under playoff intensity was huge over the last 2-3 weeks. As good as he was in the regular season he took a bit of a leap in the playoffs i didn't particularly see coming.

I'm not gonna complain about refs...Golden State is just a better team. Even if George Hill were playing I think we still lose.
In this "war", the Jazz are using sling shots, the Warriors are using machine guns.

The thing is though, that great team was only firing on one cylinder tonight. It just sucks we couldn't take advantage and at least make the series a bit more interesting.

I've always thought Favors was the pivotal piece in taking down the Warriors. Of course thats with Hill, Hood, Rudy and Gordon playing well. Favors is the guy that can swing the pendulum our way when he is at his best.
