This **** is not on the refs, anyone saying it is outs themselves as a willfully ignorant crybaby.

That's harsh, but this **** is not on the refs.
 
They figured out Mitchell's offense style (drive into scoop shot) and have abused Gobert on the PnR. I hope Snyder had a plan B for this, even though it's probably too late.
 
This is absolutely horrid. And here other ppl started to believe in the Jazz besides Jazz fans and this is what they got to show for it? How embarrassing.
 
Yup, everyone but O'Neale is terrified. O'Neale! I don't understand this one on five offense, over and over. These guys know they're not an isolation offense, right?

What happened to, "The strength of our team is our team?" Eh?

I’m at the game. Ingles is overthinking. You can see his telegraphed passes from the upper deck minutes before he makes them.

Mitchell is overwhelmed by ariza. Hes playing good defense. The few times he’s gotten close to the rim he’s stayed vertical and someone has slid down to cut off the lob to gobert. So Mitchell is forced to either chuck a bad shot up or turn it over. I think a skip pass for a 3 might be available but Houston has taken the traditional corner 3 away. Good on them. Jazz must make an adjustment or this is gonna be worse than 30.

Gobert looks slow tonight. Can’t explain it. Slow. Lethargic. Lacking energy.

Royce and Alec don’t think, they just act. They’ve done well when they’ve gotten the rebound and immediately led the break.

Without Rubio our offense is just a shell of what it was.

Houston’s offense is crisp. They’re not nailing lucky shots. They’re just out executing us big time.
 
Painfully obvious that the Jazz need a 3rd star who can put pressure on a defense when Mitchell is cold. Going to have to get creative to acquire that guy. In that context, this is good to see. Gives them something that they need to build towards.

As for the here and now, they need to keep grinding and figure out a better plan to defend the Rockets. This game is likely out of reach, but the series isn’t. Regroup, come out with energy and focus on 3 things. Limit turnovers. Get stops. Make shots. Those are all the things that will help you over the long haul.

At this point, I’d slow this game down to a crawl. Turn it into the physical slugfest that Game 4 against the Thunder was. Not getting the calls anyways, so take as many as you can to finish the game. Beat the crap out of Harden, Paul and Capela every time they’re down the court.
 
We’re playing scared and they can’t miss on top of it. Worst possible combination. Don’t blame the refs either they haven’t even called a bad game. Capela is just out working our bigs.
 
I don’t think anyone on Utah side expected a Tyson style haymaker. Oh well, Jazz stole home court. Take it to Hou on Sunday and make it a best of 3.
