I don't think they will guard us close based on our 3pt percentage. We need to get some early corner 3's if we wanted to open some driving lanes.

Dunno.... if you lose to the Kings at home, then you gotta go back to basics. Running people off the line is a Doc-basic. We gotta hope Favors has his way in the paint.

Gotta love Hornacek. Phoenix is now my 2nd favorite team just based on him being there. I was pulling for them to make the playoffs last year and for him to get COY.
Everyone please tell me how the game goes tonight. I'll be limited to the box score here in LA County as the game is blacked out. And no, that isn't meant as a racialist comment.

The Clip's big loss last night makes this a tough game to win no matter how many games they've played in how many nights. They don't want to lose to the Kings and Jazz back to back. If we are going to win this, we need to have a nice lead going into the fourth. We can't beat these guys in a close game.

That being said, I hope we clobber 'em.

I'd be interested to see a study about if teams play better following a loss.

It worked for us last game.

Of course there are other circumstances around it, but this seems to happen to us a lot. A team is on a losing streak. They hit us. Suddenly they are invigorated. The thing is that they will see us as a team they should beat. This is why we have to get that lead early.

I think this has far more to do with us being a pretty ****ty team the last 5 years or so.

I only wish that favors, hayward, Burks, and gobert were hurt too so it would be an even harder path to a win for the jazz.
