We just couldn't get into an offensive flow this game. It didn't help that we blew numerous fast-break opportunities and we had Tinsley taking a ton of bad shots.
 
On a positive note, Favors had a solid game. He should have defensive rebounded better, but overall he played superb. He locked Howard down, playing some of the best P&R defense that I have seen in quite some time.

And Hayward had a great game.
Burks looked terrible though. I'm starting to worry about him...never goes to the rim anymore and plays bonehead offense (long 2s, risky passing)
 
The commentator was a tool. Millsap plays like crap, and so does big Al against Howard. Kanter and favors should have played alot longer, defense lost this game.
 
I don't mind the loss. The lakers have too many good players to not have a few games where things click. That being said, the more I watch Jefferson on Defense, the less I care how good of a scorer he is. I like Milsap, but he is just too small and can't get his shots against starters. If he would come off the bench, he could be great. This team really misses Williams. He doesn't run a great offense, but it doesn't matter, because the Jazz don't have an offense. Jazz need to get one of the top 3 or 4 PG in the draft. They also need to trade Jefferson.
 
Al needs to go ASAP! More time for Favors & the other young guys. And Hayward needs a bigger role in the offense ... when we get one. More plays for him = more consistency.
 
i would have liked to see a better effort but this was the most important game of the year for the Lakers. when the lakers went up 5-0, the announcers for LA started going nuts. LA was just too desperate to lose.

Also, one of their broadcast's keys to the game was "stop Kanter." Coach Tyrone must have seen it and said "i got this." a game plan he can finally execute.
 
i have warmed up to the idea of Foye taking Burks minutes. at this point he is just better. but i have no idea why he gets more minutes than Hayward. that should never happen in any game, in any city. yet it happens every single night. Hayward can be inconsistent, sure (to say nothing of Foye's inconsistency) but at this point he should get 35 mins a game as he is our best wing.
