Game #7: Grizzlies at Jazz, Friday 01/06/2012 7:00 MST

BTW LOVE what I am seeing from Burks and Favors. I like Hayward, but am starting to think he may end up being sixth man material. Enes still impressing me which I thought would be impossible.

This schedule is making a big difference. Look at teams records and the injuries already.

Very true.
This is a different kind of season.
The schedule is playing havoc on teams.

Look at Porty. Big win against LA last night at home, but they are being skunked by a lousy Suns team on the road tonight.

I am glad that GS is playing tonight in LA. Jazz should be able to win in oakland tomorrow. I hope to see a good effort.

I am pleased with the improvement I am seeing from both the coaching standpoint and the general play. Still many things that need to improve. Big Al passing, Hayward confidence, Kanter extending his range to more than the paint...but overall nice improvement. Gives me hope.

If Al could pass he would be so damn good. I love him though. He battles really hard and loves the Jazz. Listen to his interviews, the guy definitely wants to win

Refs giving way too much leeway to guys jumping in front of the driver at the last second to draw the charge..
It ruins the game, its unfair, it discourages good defense and rewards cheating, and it is dangerous for the players. i don't understand why the league encourages this.

Fantastic game, very entertaining.

Phil on the post game show is absolutely terrific. I love how he calls Howard "my man G-Man"

loving the bench play....should have given burks that dunk, but he keeps getting to the foul line, him and howard have a knack for that.

This to the power of this.

Reading recap on CBSSports.com
"Grizzlies had 20 turnovers and appeared bothered by Utah's rugged style of defense."
When was the last time you saw Jazz def described as "rugged"?
Nice to hear. Hope it can become a habit.

Rudy Gay may be a top 10 talent in the league; but if I were a Grizzlies fan this guy would frustrate the hell out of me. He'll play with intensity for about 3 or 4 minutes and then coast the rest of the quarter on offense and play soft defense. You can tell by his body language that he's just not into it at times.

I don't think it's as big as an accomplishment as people think when Memphis made a run without him last year.

He's the Big Al of small forwards I think he had 1 assist. In 38 minutes. They were talking about that on the radio.

I hear ya. Just want to see favors with a min 25 minutes each game.
Favors seemed out of sync on offense and still plays like a young player at times making mistakes. Both Al and Millsap played well and deserved the minutes. When Favors has shown consistency he has gotten the minutes. I feel Al is starting to adapt to the offense finally. Al didn't seem to hold down the offense. If he ever learns to pass out of double and triple teams he would be elite.

One last thing.... Can we please trade Harris, like yesterday! It almost seems like he's lost a step or two. We need to trade his *** before the other teams realize this as well
