What's new

GAME THREAD: 3/26/14 - Grizzlies @ Jazz, 8:30 local, ESPN

I can't wait for the post game where Ty, Richard, and Marvin subtly blame the loss on the inexperience of youth. "But it is what it is. It's where were at and who we are."

Honestly though, I'm not sure why I always wait around to hear them say the same stuff. I guess I am hoping for Marv and Rich to say

I'm exhausted and realize that I am no longer NBA starter material, but would like to thank Coach Corbin for bolstering my self-esteem and trying to get me a new contract; however, I am tired of pretending. The fans are right. The reporters are right. Us playing this much is directly stealing minutes from two players in Enes and Alec who are better than us, and who actually have a future with this organization. I am going to retire and cuddle up in a bedspread of Benjamins, wearing Grant pajama pants, and wiping my arse with Woodrow Wilson's face. Thank you Ty!

I also can't wait for Trey to tell the media he did a good job of getting others involved even though he only had 2 assists.

No Boler or Matt "Everything is Kanter's fault" Harpring.

This is precisely why I listen to music with the game on mute when I watch. After hearing Matt blame every defensive lapse on Kanter, even when Kanter was on the bench, was enough for me to make a change. I did love it when Matt and Karl got into it a little bit over the value of the stretch 4. Karl is right, Enes needs to play. Screw a pipsqueak.

This is a game we can actually cheer for the opponent and be perfectly justified. Memphis has a chacne of making the playoffs ahead of Golden State. So a win for Memphis helps our own pick and just might help the GS pick. So, GO MEMPHIS x2!
