I agree. But I think we are better than we have shown. I think once the schedule gets a bit easier and we get some wins, I think it will give the team some confidence to play with. This is my hope anyway...

Burks needs to put some muscle on. Teams aren't fouling him anymore because they know he will try retardedly difficult layups. He needs to start forcing some contact.

I thought he did. It's just his mid-range game that has been killing him. His 2pt FG is down to 39 percent. He hasn't been shooting between 0-3 feet as much.

But he's not getting fouled nearly as often on his drives any more. I think Cy is right, it seems teams are avoiding contact when he drives as they know he'll go for a circus shot.

Seeing a Jazz game is like watching that movie Groundhog Day. Every game the Jazz commit a ton of turnovers, give up offensive boards and have no clue on how to run players off the 3PT line. I just laugh when I a player either go under a screen or launch himself in the air from 10 ft away when he realizes a shooter has been left wide open.

Closing the gap after getting down big is an illusion unless you actually win. Teams ease up when they have a comfortable lead.
