Burks was the only option on a very bad Colorado team. This is probably the only way he knows how to play. Not too worried about it really. Comes with time.

Yea Reggie was physical but I didn't see Kanter backing down. Kid is tough.

I don't think there was any one shot. But he took the runner in the lane before he took the corner jumper. The corner shot was very early in the clock and likely sealed his fate.

You can't just focus on one thing like that. Last night the Jazz had their rhythm on offense, they were doing what they do. Doing that would've taken from the team ball they were playing. The jazz got a lead, then had the killer instinct to put the Clips away. When a team can't get stops why change your game. It's not like it was ever a close game in the third, and Griffin wasn't playing well anyway. The Jazz let the game come to them, and had no need to concentrate on some one not making any impact on the game or outcome. Now if it's a one two point game, and Griffin is beasting out, then you adjust accordingly.

When Evans checked into the game late in the first he immediately tried to bait Kanter into a defensive 3 seconds. When Griffin had the ball, Evans would slowly back away from Kanter in an attempt to leave him alone in the paint. At one point Evans was literally standing motionless, out of bounds for about 5 seconds.

Almost immediately, Kanter was aware of what Evans was trying to do and would drift back towards Evans while still staying in a position to help D. Interestingly enough, Blake Griffin, the ****ing superstar that he is, never tried to take advantage and attack the basket.

It was a slick veteran move that went nowhere. Every game I'm a little more impressed with this kid.

He is big and physical. He also has the intelligence to do something with it. Kid learns fast, I like him.
 
Last night in the chat, I predicted that ESPN would again ignore the Jazz, the top 10 did not include one Jazz highlight (with all the dunks you would think one of them would get in), instead they showed Griffin blocking Millsap. I know I shouldn't expect anything but the ESPN bias is becoming legendary when they rank a play when his team loses by 29 pts.

Doesnt matter if they win or lose because Blake drives a Kia.
 
There's another thread on the board suggesting they should try to get Sloan as HC.

There may be a few folks here that would like to chime in on that one.
 
Sloan should stay retired. Keep his dignity.

Also I like how ESPN has a front page story on how the Clips ar egetting wins but who they need to really contend. Jazz are roaring into a #2 spot after manhandling the Clips and we only get a small side story.

Keep on hating ESPN

I think the answer is let him play some backup point guard. He doesn't handle the ball enough so when he gets it feels obligated to make something happen. If he had the ball more, like in Colorado, we might unleash a beast.
 
I see a whole section on ESPN talking about what the clippers need to get a title.

Get a title? Try getting to the playoffs and winning ONE series, which is all that Chris Paul ever did with the Hornets.

And all this talk about Dwight Howard wanting to go to the Clippers...sounds nice, until you realize that Orlando wasn't planning to give Dwight away for a trade exception. They are going to want something substantial in return.
Clippers already traded away a lot of good assets just to get Chris Paul. What do they have left that Orlando would take? Orlando is going to want Blake Griffin.
Sounds unreasonable? Really? Put youself in Orlando's shoes. If you are going to trade Dwight Howard, you will want something comparable in return, not just a bunch of scrubs and draft picks.
Or do the clippers have Elgin Baylor working for Orlando's front office?
