Just a string of random thoughts. Patterson doesn't help our sf situation, but neither is Hayward and I wanted Patterson from that draft.

Fair enough. FWIW, keeping in mind I'm a UK fan (and hated the Hayward pick), I would rather have GH than PPatterson .. even though PPat is an all-time UK fan-fave. PPat is waaay limited. Let's either;

A) be patient for another year with Gordon, or
B) trade him ..

PPat isn't who we want, though.

This game would've been a blowout by the Jazz if Kanter made that dunk.
Oh well.
My opinion of the game? Same old, same old.
Our losing is more consistent now. It seems like the same things keep us losing games.

I don't know, His line was better than both our #3 picks....of course he played twice as many minutes as either of them and he started.

Just frustrated with Jazz tonight. Frustrated with Hayward again.

Feel your pain. However, PPat played 27 minutes to Kanter's 12.

PPat had 8pts / 7rbs to Kanter's 6pts / 7rbs.

Blame the coaching/game mgmt more than the pick, imo.

To me all this losing on the road is just another sign that Millsap and Jefferson aren't good enough to be superstars on a winning team. Something most of us already knew. They need someone else to do the heaviest lifting.

I hate hate hate trying to ISO Millsap.

Yes the wing rotations have been crazy.

Watson missing all his open 3's killed us because they were giving him Ronnie Brewer treatment.

However if Lowry missed half of his threes it would have been a different ball game.

I could be wrong, but I think this has been relatively efficient. It would be especially great if we had some ****ing shooters to whom he could kick it. The problem is one-speed Jefferson... but I made that critique in another thread...

Depends on which offense we run. Lin also was on two other teams and didn't make it. Knicks just run high Pick and roll with him over and over.

Just being devils advocate for a minute...

Ok, that's long enough. Give me Ling

Which is better than watching Harris trying to run the pick and roll over and over and over then just standing out on the perimeter waiting to airball 3s.

For those who commented about Scola, I was thinking similar things during the game and since he's going to end up on his back no matter what I wished somebody when taking inside would put a knee into his chest (nothing dirty to injure him) since he's gonna get the call make him feel it every time. I also wouldn't have minded somebody making a comment while he was on his back who cares if it gets you a T, like hey since your down there, or hey I've seen you're mom in that position a lot, or hey your good on your back now get back on that corner and earn me my money bitch. I got a lot more but I think y'all get the idea.

The way the Rockets shot in the second half especially Lowry it likely wouldn't have mattered but the Jazz should've had a bigger cushion going into the second half if they'd called ONE shooting foul (also happened in the NOH game) they didn't even call enough fouls to put the Rockets in the penalty what a joke.
However I think the Jazz let that get in their head and quit playing aggressively in the 2nd half and that lead to all the jump shots and that lead to the loss more than anything.

Hey Thriller I don't think anybody is disputing Lin is playing like a top PG right now but can't dispute that fact that he has broken the record for TO's in the games he's played so far so far it hasn't countered the positive things he's done but you can't keep up that TO rate and expect it not to bite you in the butt especially come playoff time. But he is basically like a rookie so I do expect him to learn and get better.

I thought rookies learned by watching...
